For auction are vintage AC and DC Meters in what looks like a handmade wood box. This was an estate find. So I don’t know too much about this piece or if it works. I don’t have the proper tools or know-how to test it so I am auctioning it strictly AS-IS. The AC meter is made by Simpson Electric Comp. out of Chicago Illinois. And the DC meter is made by Weston Elec. Inst. Comp. out of Newark New Jersey. A 2 prong outlet on one side, 2, 2 prong inlets on the other side, one in marked"timed" There are a couple fuses in one side. The silver box has a General Electric AC Voltmeter attached to it with a cord coming out. I plugged it in and it read 127 volts. The Bakelite Triplet meter is A/C or DC. 0-250. Found in my father's estate are two vintage large Amp meters. About 5 to 6 inches. The Weston Meter is quite heavy. The Ziegler Meter is on a wooden base with three terminals and looks to be made of aluminum. The needles move but I don't know how to test them to see if they work. They will be sold as is. LOVELY HUGE VINTAGE FRENCH PURE LINEN TABLE CLOTH BILLOWING FABRIC 4 METERS LONG A wonderful vintage French pure linen table cloth which has been completely sewn by hand. There are two small initials FR in the top corner. Once bright red but through the passage of time have now faded to a dusky pink. The fabric is lovely soft white. Tightly woven fine linen which as you run your fingers across has just enough texture to excite and gives that wonderful feel. To each end of the cloth there is a raised woven pattern which gives another dimension, this has all been worked by hand and white threads have been woven through to create this delightful pattern which sits in about 19 inches/ 48 cms from each end and is approx 1.75 ins/ 4 cms deep again to give further detailing there is another band of woven work higher up the cloth giving 4 bands in ... moretotal. Selvedge’s run to each side and the hems have been turned and sewn by hand. A great table cloth which would look fantastic when used as a table cloth or could easily be used in many a interior period project or used as a piece of fabric for throws.
