This is my Yaesu FT-817(non ND) Which has succumb to blown finals. Things you should know: Receive works FB. Low output due to blown finals. Mars mod, VOX enabled through data port- mod. Internal fuse(PCB trace) was blown a couple years ago. I solder bridged it to repair. The coarse tuning knob is a bit jumpy. But this can be repaired/replaced- Acceptable as is. Scratch on top surface. Small crack on front face plate- Not service affecting. These are all of the issues that I am aware of. But obviously this unit is being sold as-is due to the bad final board. Drake TR-4C HF Transceiver, MS-4 Speaker, AC-4 Pow. Sup. For Parts or Repair
This is a nice Drake TR-4C HF Transceiver. This auction includes the TR-4C. MS-4 Speaker cabinet, and AC-4 Power Supply. This set is being sold for parts or repair because it has a few minor issues, but is quite usable as is. This biggest problem is a flaky AF/ RF gain pot- the AF gain only works till about 1/3 way up and goes to full volume very quickly. The RF gain when turned max CW sometimes causes the receive to cut out- backing off slightly cures the problem. Bottom line is it needs a new dual pot. The other issue is the receive sensitivity cuts in and out- in other words it can suddenly drop way down then suddenly pop back up. A light tap on the cabinet also brings it back. This problem seems to improve the longer the radio is on. Other than these two issues it works quite well. There were a few more older items that were found, ... moreso will be putthing those on also. This is a very old, I would say late 1950's, and has DeVRY's name on the front plate and on the meter. Believe it is a model 1S14 since that is at the bottom of the front plate. I do not want to mess with it too much, so I have not tested it out fully. Looks to have two tubes that go with it intact. Case has some places whre the paint is missing and looks like it will need a new paint job. Has a crinkle type paintjob now, but needs redone. On the back, there are two louvered vents to keep unit cool when tubes heat up. There are also three adjustment knobs on the back, for what I don't know. The power cord comes out the back, but it is frayed near the plug, and will have to be replaced. I tried to plug it in, but got a zap because the two wires of the cord were frayed and jumped across my finger. I decided to open up the unit to see what was inside. It looks pretty simple and straightforward. See pics. When I plugged it in again carefully, it didn't light up. This is a rare item. Unfortunately. All the pieces are not there. It's an Emerson Model 529-9 Record Recorder with playback, around 1949. It is missing the chassis and the etching arm. I know very little about this unit. I've never seen one before. I bought a collection of players and this was one of them. I thought it was a player until I looked closer. All the other units in the collection were well maintained and functioning. There is an adaption that has been made to connect an RCA cable for audio, even a homemade add-on to connect two cables so the sound came out of two speakers in mono(see pics) He may have had it wired to just use the turntable as a player and no longer used the recording side. vint.Salton Peanut Butter Machine, original box/brush/book, FOR REPAIR OR PARTS
This is a vintage. White Salton Peanut Butter Machine that DOES NOT WORK. It's missing a tiny piece of plastic, that being the very tip of the hook that should rotate with the grinding wheels, and thus agitate the nuts down into the grinder. Since it's tip is missing, the hook doesn't rotate on it's own. It has 3 rubbery O-rings, two of which are OK, and the largest of which is cracked but still in one piece. One ring of plastic encasing the grinder is cracked, but still in one piece, too. So you can decide its fate: turn the hook manually, improvise simple repairs, replace the hook and large O-ring, or use the machine for parts. I've disassembled it, as seen in the pictures, and cleaned it as best I can. Again, you can decide how much more to clean it. Otherwise, i t's been lightly used. And has no rust. I will describe the defect below. Th is is a big power. High quality stereo power amplifier from Onkyo. It is late 80's, early 90's vintage and includes the original box with packing inserts. Although it is currently non-functional, I would think it likely worth repairing for someone with the proper skills. Here's the problem: The amp powers up and plays perfectly through headphones. If you have either pair of speaker inputs turned on with a sound source engaged. The amp goes into protection. VINTAGE MAD MEN STYLE WOOD AND TWEED SETH THOMAS QUARTZ ALARM CLOCK PARTS REPAIR
This is a really cool vintage alarm clock by the famous clock maker Seth Thomas. It is a small clock but very heavy. It is solid piece of wood. I don't know what the age of the clock is. But it looks like it is from the 50s or 60s. There is no plug on it anymore so I have no way of testing it to see if it works or not. You can turn the hands and set the alarm though with the knobs in the back. There is a spot on the glass face of the clock and I do not know what it is. There is wear on the felt on the bottom of the metal feet, and looks like a hairline crack? in the back plastic. Because of the condition I am selling it AS IS for PARTS or REPAIR. It would make a great collectors piece if I knew how to fix clocks. I really liked this one. It measures 6" wide and 5" tall. Thanks for looking!

Hayward C2020 For Parts Or Repair
Was working ok when pulled. The bottom collector is bad and needs to be replaced. It has cracks in it where the vibration from the filters wore through the plastic. I would have repaired it but I needed a bigger filter. The cartridges are in good condition along with the rest of the filter. Exacta VX1000 W/ f2.0 Biotar for Parts or Repair
This Exacta VX1000. S/N 1142332 has a 58mm f2.0 Zeiss Jena Biotar S/N 3832153. Both look pretty good, but both are a mess. Let’s start with the camera. The shutter is apparently wound(mirror is down) but won’t trip. The wind lever moves freely as does the shutter setting dial. The spring holding the lens locking lever down is either missing or broken. There are some dents on the prism housing, but they don’t affect the view through the finder. Oh, and some of the leatherette is beginning to curl. Now let’s move on to the lens. It’s a preset Biotar. Everything is frozen- focus, lens aperture don’t budge. But the preset ring works just fine. So there you have it- a repairable or a nice display piece or a good paperweight. Your choice. Thanks for looking.
