He passed away and his wife was selling all of his equipment. She tried to be honest and tell me as much as she could but it all was based on what her husband had told her. She wasn't directly involved with the actual using the equipment. She said as far as she knew. All the pieces that was hooked up right then worked. I was not involved with removing it but I did get to see most of it. So I will tell you anything I do know but it's not much. But that's it. Two of the units power on and spin the disc, but do not play the disc. One of the units does not spin the disc, but does power on. No batteries or adapters are included. It also has a wooden bird, some of the paint is off of the tail and there are no wings, not sure if it ever had them. The lifters are here but there is no hammer. The verge and escape wheels look good. The wire that the pendulum hang on is here. There are no hands or nut, pendulum or chains. The ratchet wheels appear to work fine but are very dirty. The bird stand operates on the right side of this movement. This movement is dirty and will need servicing as it has set for a long time. SPECTACULAR (but needs repair) vintage Aurora Borealis Rhinestone BIB NECKLACE!!
This is really a showstopping necklace. Made with all Aurora Borealis rhinestones, but needs some slight repair. One of the little"connecting bars" on the main part of the circular necklace has broken in half and either needs to be removed completely or fixed, and one piece of fringe is missing. Also, the clasp was made by using a separate piece of flat chain in order to widen the neck size of the piece. Otherwise, this is ready to wear and knock'em dead! This sparkles like not many that I've ever seen, it's dazzling. The necklace measures 14" long when it's laid out on the table flat, and interior neckline is roughly 7 1/2" in diameter. Age is 1980's. FABulous piece for the theatre, any costume where diamonds are required, or just wear out to the club with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans! Why not?
