ANTIQUE VINTAGE LONG VELVET COAT WITH FUR HOOD - needs some repair
This ANTIQUE black VELVET COAT w/ HOOD is very old. I'm sorry but I don't know how to date is specifically. It is in need of some repair. But can be fixed by someone handy with a needle and thread and brought back to its just due. Please view the included 9 photos and the descriptions of each photo to learn details. Photo 1: Shows the front of the coat. There are no labels or size indicators. But the measurements are as follows: Front length of coat is 52" from the neckline to the bottom of the coat; The short measurement across the back shoulder-to-shoulder is 13" but the sleeves are somewhat puffed and add an additional 2-3" on each side across the back. The sleeve length on the topside of the sleeve to the bottom of the sleeve is 26" The sleeve on the underside of the arm measures 17" The measurement of ... morethe coat across the waistline is about 17" x2 for the approximate circumference) The width of the coat is made of 7 panels sewn together and creates a slight flair. The total bottom circumference of the coat is about 65" Photo 2: The fur collar measures 5" from each point to the neckline. Sorry. I have no idea what the fur or if it's real fur. Photo 3: Shows the back hood. Which is a nice full hood. Condition seems very good. Photo 4: Shows the full length of the back of the coat and the full hood. Photo 5: Shows some damage to the front button at the neckline of the coat. The loop is a fabric loop and is in very good condition. The button is loose and. As you can see, the fabric is torn around the attachment of the button. This looks like the fabric can be turned under and repaired. Photo 6: This photo shows the closure at the waist. The loop. Again, looks to be in good shape. The fabric around the loop needs to be pulled in and stitched back in place. Someone familiar with detail sewing should have success with this. The velvet is so dark that I don't believe repairs would be visible, but please use your own judgement with any of these repairs. Photo 7:

Vintage Fur Coat 60s 70s Mink ? Off White Cream Needs Lining Repair Missing Belt
Apologies I am not a fur person. So I don't know a lot of details, but this week I found 3 vintage furs that are just wonderful. This one is in the roughest condition, but it is absolutely gorgeous on! I adore it. It fits me pretty well- I'm about a women's size 8- 10 with 34 chest. I do not know the type of fur. maybe mink? But it's not super smooth, a little rough. The inner lining is so pop art that I would hate to replace it. I would rather repair but not sure how- the bottom edge is so so so worn- shredding- maybe a panel added over(I'm not a seamstress, don't listen to me! Also, I do like it on me just as is no belt- but I show one of the two openings where I think a belt is to come through. There are side pockets. The fur has not been cleaned. Clock Timer Timetrax Model 185 – Ac 9 V Parts Or Repair
This is a Clock regulating beat amplifying portable tool used in the clocked industry to regulate clocks. It was manufactured by TimeTrax and is model 185 it is complete with the original connector cord. I also have the booklet that came with it explaining beat rates for a wide variety of different clocks I just didn't put it in the picture. I used it every day for about two years one day I accidentally sat on it and broke the miniature connector pin receptacle on the circuitboard. One picture has a view of the connector pointing to the broken receptacle(see pic) I had a friend try to repair it and it worked for a while but it broke again and needs the correct receptacle for the mini-connector to work properly. I had it apart waiting for him to help but he moved away. Antique Seth Thomas & Sons Metal Clock w/Bronze Finish c1870 For Parts or Repair
A bit of clock history: REF: American Clocks Vol 2. LY Quote: Seth Thomas Clock Co formed an auxiliary corporation on Oct 17, 1865 specifically to manufacture marine(lever) escapement movements and high-grade pendulum movements, specifically round plate movements with porcelain dials which were imitations of expensive French movements. Many of these movements are marked"H. Kaiser" who was apparently the designer of the movement. Though not of equal quality of their French look-alikes, they ranked among the best movements produced by a Connecticut firm in the 19th century. A trade catalog was issued in 1872 showing more than 100 different models. Though there were a few with wooden cases and under glass shades, most were in cast metal cases with figurines, often imitating French designs. Some of there metal cases were brass, others ... morea zinc composition with bronzed finished. Their quality and detail were usually good and were probably supplied by a specialty New York casting firm. These clocks were quite expensive, retailing in 1879 from a low of $11.50 to a high of $77.00 with a median price of about $30.00, at least five times the median price of commonly produced 8 day shelf clocks of the time.Though the clock movements were manufactured in Connecticut, Seth Thomas' Sons& Co clocks were sold exclusively through the American Clock co. of New York City, a sales outlet largely supported by the Seth Thomas Clock. Co. The firm of Seth Thomas' Sons& Co. ceased as a separate firm on Jan 31, 1879. End Quote. This is one of these faux French clocks. Down to the port hole back and the unusual pendulum. Vintage Hurricane Style Lamp for Parts or Repair
Unfortunately the shade for this pretty little lamp broke. Its being sold as is for parts now. It does have some nice vintage lamp parts on it. The lamp measures approximately 25" tall to the finial. The ornate decorative rim that went around the shade is 14" in diameter, the base is 7" x 7" The glass part of the base is losing its paint from the inside as shown in the pictures, that piece measures approx 13" tall. Antique Hanging Lantern Lamp Parts or Repair
I'm offering for auction today this hanging lantern piece. It's approximately 14 and a half inches tall. By eight and a half inches at its widest. Its on a chain that measures approximately 15 inches long. I really don't know a lot about this piece, it looks like it went from being an oil lamp, to a cloth wired lamp, and then someone crudely attached lamp wire to the cloth wiring.
