Maasdam is also inscribed on the tool, The tool it self is still in great condition though the cable is only 5 ft. and not in great shape, but the mechanism to change the cable is very sample and it will be easy to install another cable to it, the little hooks at the end of the cable seem to be made of brass the rest is steel, the ratcheting system works perfect, Though this tool can be used as a binder the original purpose according to the pattent description was a Pulling Device. thats probably why it has no specific weight capacity. Aluminum Vacuum Chamber with Load-Lock& Rotary Platform. 20 CATEGORIES for other items of interest. Currently over store items listed. 2447 This Aluminum Vacuum Chamber has about 10 ports. Including 3 circular ports about 17" in diameter. The rotary platform can be seen inside the lower left circular port. Normal orientation would be 90 degrees from the way it is shown-we just don't know which direction. The overall dimensions of the main chamber are about 48" across the bottom. 36" tall and 20" front to back as shown above. Raw weight is something over 400 pounds. The air cylinders that operate the load-locks can be seen to the lover left of the image below. There is about a 17 slot port to the lower right. The ring mechanism rotates. The image below is what we believe is the drive motor/gear assembly that rotates ... moreit. The components inside it also move driven by Pittman gear motors. The two Pittman gear motors that drive the 2 small semicircular units can be seen in these images. The motors are GM9413-4 12/24 volts DC 218.4 to 1 ratio. The 18 inch slotted port more or less lines up with the rotating platform inside and has an 0-ringed matching plate as shown above. The air cylinders shown above operate the load-lock chambers shown below. Addtional external mechanism associated with the load-locks is on the underside as shown below. We assume normal orientation is rotated 90 degrees form the way the unit is currently positioned. Again. The 3 circular ports are about 17" diameter. The image above shows a small VCO venting or purging port and the image below shows a couple more. Anyone out there need an eight ohm mono/ stereo 570 watts per side dummy load? I worked part-time for various music stores doing amplifier repair. The perfect tool for anybody that does any kind of mono/ stereo amplifier repair. This load was the most often used item in the repair shop for testing audio power amps. Guitar amplifiers and stereo power amps. I built this in the late 80’s early 90’s and it has just about every needed connector available to make life easier. Phono jack, BNC, ¼“ phone jack, and banana jack. I think I may have gotten carried away with jacks, but I did use them all in misc. repairs. There are a total of 12 power resistors and these weren’t’ cheap back then and still expensive now( $15 apiece) The lower brass spring type connector is common ground and the two top spring loaded jacks are for attaching wires or ... moremonitoring the output with meter or scope. It originally came with a gooseneck attachment but was changed over to a 5th wheel attachment. It can easily be changed back to a gooseneck attachment by loosening the holding bolt ... moreand changing it to a gooseneck sleeve. The brakes were completely redone about 2 years ago and the tires are in good shape. Ready for work. A neat trailer. The trailer is completely mechanical. No heavy hydraulic cylinders or batteries, so that saves the trailer in weight and gives more capacity to loading heavier items on the trailer. The trailer gives a loading angle that makes it a dream to load versus a beaver tail setup that most conventional trailers use.
