So I replaced the CMOS battery on the internal power supply board. On the back is a 27 inch. Telescoping whip antenna. Overall condition is very good. Black. Crinkle finish is good. The meter face is clear and the antenna extends freely. On the bottom is printed USN in red ink. Does it work? I have hooked it up to my signal generator and got some deflection of the meter around 130 MHZ; it is probably in working condition. It is a working field strength meter offered in the 1960's Attach a random wire antenna to the top terminal and measure the strength of your signal from the antenna at different positions. Or like me use it as a shelf queen to complete the Heathkit collection. Original knob. Original magnet, crisp lettering, clear working meter and an excellent front panel.
