This item was recently working perfectly. Has been recently calibrated and with updated firmware. One day it started asking for a calibration when turned on. So I replaced the CMOS battery on the internal power supply board. When I reinstalled the power supply board the item would not turn back on, leading me to believe that I caused an issue with the power supply board itself.

On the back is a 27 inch. Telescoping whip antenna. Overall condition is very good. Black. Crinkle finish is good. The meter face is clear and the antenna extends freely. On the bottom is printed USN in red ink. Does it work? I have hooked it up to my signal generator and got some deflection of the meter around 130 MHZ; it is probably in working condition. It is a working field strength meter offered in the 1960's Attach a random wire antenna to the top terminal and measure the strength of your signal from the antenna at different positions. Heres one for you Vintage Royce CB collectors. Royce Model 2-097 SWR. POWER,MODULATION, FIELD STRENGTH METER. Came out of a old cber shack stash. Front and back look nice. Case is pretty rough,but for the Royce collectors the case can be refinished to look new. Hookup and she works. Don't know on the field strength operation,missing antenna. Haven't ever ran across one like this with the Royce logo on it. Royce in the CB heyday really had some great Radios in its day. So if your a Royce lover or someone who likes the vintage gear here's one you won't see. Due to its age,unit sold AS-IS. Happy to answer all questions. Thanks for looking.

Field Strength and SWR Tester by Microanta(Radio Shack) Used and still works well. It is not a watt meter however it is capable of handling 0-500 watts. Frequency range is 3-30MHz. I've shown several extra photos so you can see how nice this meter is to work with. Comes with original Owner's manual as shown in photos plus you get the plug in antenna. Drawing shows just how to connect it for best results. Sale is final with NO return. This is an extra meter that I no longer need.
