This is a Greenlee/ Progressive 521 Cable Locater- what you see is what's included(no headphone and home-made ground spike) It is the older style and has a few years on it. But I sent this unit to Greenlee/ Tempo last September for service and refurbishment- it works like new. Since I've gotten it back it hasn't been used more than two or three times. No headphones. But most folks wouldn't want a used set of cheap headphones anyway- just pick up a couple cheap sets to keep on hand. If you know how to use these. Breaks, shorts, etc(see photos of the reference card) If you need to measure short cables you go to another window which just reports the cable length as a number.
