This an ex MOD Ptarmigan Network HP 334A rack mounted unit(3U unit) With carrying handles. Unit powers up OK and appears to be in working condition. The HP 331A through 334A are fine instruments for measuring THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) over a very wide frequency range. And they are also competent wideband AC voltmeters. At the time they were designed, their THD measurement floor of around 0.01- 0.02% was as good as the equipment they were designed to measure. The 331A and 332A do not feature auto-tuning, whereas the 333A and the 334A do. This is important, because for very high performance use, I find auto tuning to be a necessity. With graduated scale, that fits over a 24 mm eyepiece; 2) a Nicol prism substage polarizer that fits a 37.2 mm holder, 3) a substage selenite plate that fits a 37.2 mm holder, and(4) a Nicol prism polarizer that mounts between an objective and the optical tube.
