I am not at all familiar with testing it. But I did read through the instruction manual and attempt to test it. Here is what I did– I followed the instructions for initial filling of the machine using the overflow tube at the front. This is supposed to fill the water bath portion. I did not have any problems doing this and once I turned the compressor on, I could hear it power on and begin to cool the machine down. I have no way to test if it actually made ice in the water bath though. Also, I don’t have any juice containers to use in the machine and so was not able to see if it would actually dispense. Also, I attempted to RINSE the machine per the instructions. I connected a hot water line, switched the selector to Rinse, and pressed one of the buttons on the front, but nothing happened. That is the extent of the testing and so I would assume since I was not able to get the machine to rinse, that it needs some type of repair, or may be good just for parts.
