1950 Clark Clipper Forklift 2000 lbs Continental Y-91 Gas Engine
Selling my 1950 Clark Clipper forklift. I bought the forklift with great intentions of restoring but life happened and now it needs to go. From my research and talking to the Clark company formally out of Battle Creek MI(only a few miles from here! I've determined it is a 1950 Clipper 2024 model of 2000 lbs capacity. Clark were good enough to send me a PDF of the original spec sheet which I will provide to the buyer. And I also have a parts manual to go with. The engine is a Continental Y-91 L head 4 cylinder gas engine. I've not had it running but it does crank over, has compression, so no reason why it should not run once converted to 12 volts. The carb is off it currently. I've also removed the very heavy rear counter weight to make it easier to transport. It was only 4 bolts to take off. Also you should know that the parking ... morebrake appears to be engaged and will not release. The front wheels turn when off the ground(in opposite directions of course) and the engine turns in neutral over so I suspect there is a transmission brake that is not releasing. Makes loading and unloading interesting, hence the removal of the large cast iron weight on the back. I originally thought the brakes were locked so I've removed the shoes but like I said it seems to be in the transmission. The forklift is complete with forks. Delivery is possible within 200 miles of Kalamazoo which includes the Chicago. Detroit and Indianapolis areas for $1.25 per loaded mile. Feel free to email with any questions. Thanks.

Clark CF 20 Mini Forklift Truck Vintage 1967 LP/Cushion Tires similar to Clipper
Vintage Clark Forklift Model CF 20 from 1967. This unit is mostly original. The data plate shows"G" which is gas. Yet this model is LP. It was probably converted by a Clark dealer shortly after it was delivered in 1967, although there is no gas gauge and the gas tank doesn't look like it was ever used. Original Clark green paint and stickers. There is some slight rust, although the unit was stored inside. The key switch and starter is on the left side near the Hobbs hour meter which shows 3026. Lift and tilt cylinders work fine, slight presence of hydraulic oil on the cylinders, which is typical for trucks this age. It has a high and low shifter, which works fine. The engine starts right up and runs nicely. All the gauges work. The battery is new. The brakes work although the brake pedal is low when it stops. The tires are hard ... morecushion/smooth type for concrete and asphalt surfaces and in good shape. The seat is ripped and needs repair/replacement(it appears to be the original frame and material) Included is a 30 gal propane cylinder and the protective cage. This would be a perfect truck for a small garage/ workshop or a restoration project. The truck is located in Charlottesville, VA. These forklifts are extremely hard to find in this shape. Clark Mod. C300-50 4450 Lb. LPG Forklift
Up for sale is a good used Clark C300-50 LP powered forklift. It is in good running condition and has served us well. We are moving and will no longer need this machine. The cylinders were recently rebuilt and the battery was replaced at that time. The tires are used. But still in decent shape. It will lift 188" from the floor to the forks. It has a 4450lb weight capacity. It will come as shown in the pictures. The only known issues is that it will leave a small oil drip when it is parked overnight. This has never effected operation and we always check the oil. We have a loading dock and would be happy to load it onto a truck or trailer or could deliver it locally for a small fee.
