For Sale: 1989 Clark Forklift- 15.500 Capacity Runs good and in well working order. 8' forks on the machine which were added about 5 years ago. Solid rubber tires on front and back. Seat is raised to give a better view when operating. All of the cylinders are in good working condition and they retain pressure when not in use. Clark UTD 60 Rough Terrain Forklift
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I have a Clark UDT-60 all terrain forklift for sale. This is basically the same machine as a John Deere 450-B Forklift. It has a 4219 John Deere diesel engine and 8 speed transmission with power reverser. Forklift has a 6000 pound rated capacity and was manufactured in 1985. Has side shift and tilt function on the forklift. It has a 12' mast height. The parts are all John Deere- axles. Engine, transmission, etc. This machine was on a garden center property I bought. It weighs approximately 12.000 pounds, has good rubber on the front and good rubber on the back, the rears are foam filled. When I got it the tires were full and I've never put air in them. Engine runs great and runs smoothly. Starts right up, I changed all fluids and filters since I had no idea how long it had sat or what the ... moreprior maintenance was. Forklift has new seal in the main carriage piston and is a dry machine all around. Picks up an amazing amount of weight, I think it will pick way over its rating. The transmission is stuck in low. It is a 4 speed transmission with a high/low and the high/low seems to be frozen. It still moves pretty good in low gear. The power reverser works fine, you put the machine in gear and then can go forward and reverse without changing gears. One of the tilt cylinders has a slight leak–nothing major, it seeps down over the course of about a day, but is completely usable as is. The hydraulic side shift function needs a hydraulic fitting replaced as well. Brakes don't work too well either but machine comes to a halt on its own once the clutch is pressed and inches very well. Unfortunately I don't know anything about tractor brakes so it might be something simple. This machine is sold as is. And with all faults. I encourage any prospective buyers to come out and run the machine to see what you are getting. I have described the machine as best I can. This is an old piece of equipment which runs but has and will have issues that come with age. Hour meter is not

Serial cy40b 40-5901063 Its max lift weight is 4.000lbs and its max lift height is 130in It is automatic and has a high and low gear. Has good brakes. Electric fuel pump. Runs really good. The original gas tank is either dirty or rusty because the gas cap is missing and the previous owner mounted a tank on top of the counterweight on the back of the lift. Works good as is but could be redone. It needs tighter belts on the engine. They are a little loose and powersteering pump is slipping so its hard to steer. It try's to steer momentarily but will steer while your moving. It could use some better front tires. Two of the front tires are blown out but are foam filled and useable. The back tires are good but don't match in tread pattern. ... moreIt could use a new seat The guy I got it from was using it almost everyday and got rid of it because he needed a bigger lift. Clark C500 50 Propane Forklift 1980's
We have a Clark Forklift that runs well but it has developed a leak which we are guessing is a transmission leak. Instead of fixing it we have decidedd to replace it with a forklift that has a side shifter which would work better for our needs. Except for the leak. The lift works well and has been a real work horse for us. We are using it now and will use it until we buy a new one so if you want to see it run you can try it out in our shop as we use it every day. We have a buy now price but will be accepting offers until Friday. June 7 when our new one arrives. If it is not sold by 6/7/13 we will trade it in.
