CAT GPL 40 FORKLIFT This has been at our facility since 2003. We purchased it at an auction and have done regular maintenance on it. We have had a shift in our equipment production and purchased a large forklift to help with that. We no longer need this forklift nor have room for it. SPECS: Forks are 52" long. Hour meter reflects 7.663 hours. The meter works, however we aren't exactly sure it's always worked over the lifetime of the truck, 9.000 lb capacity, Gas Engine, Lowered Mast Height: 8' 2" Raised Fork Height: 12' THE GOOD: Engine replaced in 2006 with a re-manufactured unit. Approximately 500 hours have been logged on the unit since the engine replacement. Has"Auxiliary" function. It's got the third controls for adding another function. Tires are in good shape. There are some cuts. But they are ... morenot bald or needing replacement. They all hold air. Cylinders have been repacked recently. None of the cylinders leak. The fuel system has been cleaned in November of 2014. The tank was washed out(on this model it's a steel tank built into it) Lines flushed and the fuel filter replaced. The starter was replaced in early December of 2014 Starts and runs fine- unit still sees occasional use. Has been stored inside THE BAD: Gas gauge does NOT work The seat is worn significantly The lift does not have sideshift. We can help arrange shipping at buyers cost. Ur bidding on a t25 propane cat fork lift with 48 inch forks. It starts and runs good as far as I can tell I bought it from a local business that was updating it is a older lift so I selling as is it may need a few things don't expect a perfect machine. I have ran it enough to know that it works and will lift as it should the only thing I have noticed is that the power stering makes a noise like it may need the belt tightened up. It has a hydrostatic transmission and power stering. With a two stage mast. The business owner said he had been using the machine daily and the only reason for selling is he bought a new machine. You are looking at very nice running ready to use Caterpillar 930 front end loader. This also comes with what I believe is a 2 yard bucket in very nice condition. Actually the bucket is currently installed and being used moving snow. The hour meter shows 6613 hours and is currently not working. I do know for a fact that this engine was fully refurbished from caterpillar and I seriously doubt is has more than 1000 hours on the new engine since full rebuild. It would take me awhile.
