1983 Ford F700 Bucket Truck. This is a good truck with a fresh rebuilt 429 gas engine. It has a 10 speed split rear end. The bucket reaches 50' and rotates. It has a JIB winch at the top of the bucket that holds close to 2000lbs. There is a front winch on the truck rated at 26.000 lbs. There are 4 stabilizers on the truck. The tires are all good. I have installed a small pony motor with an auxillary victor pump on the truck(the little motor is bad) There is a lot of storage as you can see from the pics. Some of the items that need fixed are: needs a pto cable for front winch, the odomoter cable needs replaces, the power steering pump has a little leak, and the top cylinder will need new packing sometime-still useable. I purchased this wonderful machine from its original owner 4 years ago. He had great aspirations of starting a firwood business that never materialized. He literally never used it. When I bought it the gas in the tank was bad because it still had the original gas from when he had purchased it. All the little rubber nubbins were still on the tracks. It has always been stored inside. It has never sat out. It looks pretty much like new with the exception of a few scratches from the little use I did and the front hand winch bracket is a little bent due to my lack of knowing how everything was supposed to work. I used it to retrieve firewood for two winters. Very light use compared to what this thing was built for. It is simply amazing what it can do. You have to witness it to believe it. The 9 hp Honda always starts the first pull and nothing ... moreleaks. Rattles, or smokes. I noticed when I got it out to clean it for pictures that it turned to the left much easier than the right, but that maybe from lack of use. It has sat for almost 2 years with the exception of me starting it every other month. I have set a reserve at $2000 less than what I paid for it. Someone is going to get a great deal. The WM was the first small L head Engine Briggs made. Primarily used on Washing Machines. This one has the 3 inch clutch pulley, Straight one piece kick pedal, Original muffler pipe fitting, Flywheel is nice with no broken or missing fins. Very good spark and compression. The tank is in very good condition lite surface rust spots inside with only a couple very small dings, the pick up tube works well. It has a Sears Roebuck tag on it and had a Economy decal on the shroud. Starts and runs good. Hard to find this complete and in this condition. Needs a good cleaning, I have not done anything to this engine accept clean the tank and get it running, just needed the points filed and set and it ... morefired right up. The Newton Engineering and Manufacturing company bought out all the tooling from Clinton when they went out of business. They shipped it all overseas to Singapore and tried to continue making them under the Newton name. It's not known how many they made but this is one of them. Identicle to the last Clintons made. Vermeer 1200 Wood Tree Brush Chipper Towable Pull Behind
This is a vermeer 1200 tree. Wood, or brush chipper that runs and works fine, doesn't need anything, good blades, and is not broken. Tires are decent. Engine is a 2.3 ford with 90 horsepower. I have the original vermeer manual for it. The chipper has been reprinted and new decals put on about three years ago. You can pull this with a pickup truck or medium duty truck. Has a pintol hitch receiver and 7 pin round connector. This is a self feeding chipper with an adjustable blow shute into the back of a truck. It also has a adjustment for the blades to make big or small chips. If your local I can drop it off. Otherwise you'll need to pick it up. Purchased at an estate sale not even knowing what it was but I was taken by the absolutely fantastic graphics. Especially the punched holes in the cast iron. The primitive look of it sold me. Retains the original"John Deer" green paint with gold pinstripping. My description really doesn't do it justice. Through research I learned that it is a hay/ straw cutter. The Hench and Dromgold company made farm equipment from the mid 1800's to very early 1900's. Lots of rich history regarding this early company. This would make a great addition to any collection or displayed in a country rustic environment. Sure to be a conversation starter. The condition is comenserate with age. I would say all issues are very typical but ... morea few things that I want to note- There are no legs(easy supplement if you choose legs-2"x2" wide) Wood is somewhat weathered. We gave it a gentle cleaning-perhaps you could do better-and oiled the blade so it operates nicely. Measures 42" long. Body tapers from 14.5" wide to 11" wide. Handle is 28" long.
