2000 Cat Log Skidder 525- ready to put to work- One New Tire (3 months use)
This is about a 2000 Year Model CAT 525 with approximately 1200 hours. This machine was running and working on the job and the owner had the operator park it to get these pictures. The only problem he is having out of it is that the transmission pump get weak after it gets hot and it has to be revved up to build pressure and shift from about noon until quitting time. The left rear tire is practically new(3 months old) and the remaining 3 tires are at about 50% rubber. This winch works as well but also need a shaft. $25.000

Southco chipper dump box
You are viewing a use chip box removed from a tree service truck I have for sale. A friend of mine bought it to use as a removable lid for a tandem dump truck so he could blow chips into it. But he ended up buying a new truck already set up as a tree truck. So now this is not needed. You are buying the box only. There is no hoist, subframe, or rear hitch with it. There is a tag on it that reads that it is a Southco brand box. It has a L shaped front where a toolbox can be mounted on the truck frame under it. No toolbox for this area is included. The top of the box(above the L shape cut out) is 12 feet. 2 inches long. The bottom part is 10 feet, 1 inches long. The box is 5 feet tall, and 92 inches wide. It has a door on the back that swings open for when you dump the chips. It has another door on the drivers side that closes on a built in ... moretool box where you can store a pole pruner. Rakes, shovels, etc. The box has some slight rust in spots. Scratches, and faded paint. But it is a good solid box. I have a crane to load it with. This auction is for roughly 100' of Yale XTC 12 strand climbing line. This rope was purchased off of eBay as part of a tree climbing/arborists kit as sold by jimgoodallequipment out of Ft. Meyers. Fl. It was sold as a climbing line with a tensile strength of 10,000 lbs. 1000 lb safe working load limit. I used it a few times, and it had too much stretch for my taste, so I retired it. Crary Bear Cat chipper 8", 3pt, hydraulic feed
It is a 2006(now Echo) Crary Bear Cat Model 72854 8" hydraulic feed. 3pt attach, PTO driven chipper. Just attach to your tractor(50 hp or more) and engage the PTO. In the time we've owned it(we bought it new in 2006) we've put about 40 hours on it. I replaced both belts and the hydraulic filter in March of 2013 and haven't put any hours on the chipper since then except for testing. The top of the chute that directs the angle of the chips has a slight dent in it. But aside from that this machine is in great shape and ready to give you years of trouble free use.

This listing is for a complete mill saw blade kit that you can assemble and install on your excavaor. Skid steer loader, tractor or backhoe. It includes a heavy angle iron mount with 5/8 inch bolts that attaches to your machine. It will have five foot long hydraulic hoses with a male and female flat face connector for the ends. The mill saw blades that I have are new old stock. With some rust on one side. They are 26 and 1/2 inches in diameter and are perfect for cutting out tree roots and tree stumps. If you like to remove tree stumps in larger pieces so that you do not have a lot of chips to clean up, or like to dry and use the wood for firewood, then this is your machine. Up for bid today is a Bombardier snow cat. This is an old machine that is no longer a good fit with our ski area since we've upgraded to multiple larger cats. It starts. Runs and drives and will have no problem loading& unloading itself from your trailer, but is in need of some mostly cosmetic love. A bit of Bondo and some paint would go a long ways on it. That said, it's powered by a gasoline Ford"Kent" industrial 1.3 liter engine, which is close enough to a pinto motor so you can still get parts for it. Due to problems with the original alternator it has been upgraded to a GM 1-wire alternator. The hydraulics that control the front plow up/down and left/right blade angle are fully functional, though the front gearbox cooler pump is bad and if you want to use it at high temps you may wish to replace it(since we never ... moreuse it during the summer or for long durations, we never bothered to) This has a 4 speed manual gearbox and a functional clutch. It is equipped with a Pintle hitch on the rear for pulling sleds or implements. Tires have been foam-filled. Track cleats have wear but are still runnable. Hour gauge is non-functional but has over 2000 hours. Though not pictured, a box of misc parts, seatbelts, hydraulic components and an additional original seat are all included with it. Muffler was replaced last winter season along with alternator, water pump, starter and temp gauge, and the carb was rebuilt and oil changed, though its probably in need of an oil change again soon. Snow cat is located in central Iowa. About 45 mins north of Des Moines. It will fit between the rails on a normal sized car trailer, and I'd estimate its weight around 1800-2000 lbs.
