Railroad Ave Wickett's Lumber Mill HO/HOn3 Resin Craftsman Kit Rare
Auction is for new. Unstarted kit by Railroad Ave, Wickett's Mill" It is a resin craftsman kit with stripwood, Grandt Line windows and lots of finely detailed resin castings of board& batten walls. This is a very hard to find kit and I was quite excited to find it as it had the same look as some of the lumber mills I wanted to model. S ome of the resin castings have a slight warp to them. Which I am told is normal. I wrote the manufacturer, they sent me an easy solution to remove the warp(put them flat on a cookie sheet in your oven at a very low heat) I will include their instructions with the kit. This is a very substantial kit consisting of a large mill and several outbuildings(see photos) It will make a really nice looking structure when completed. The instructions do not include any plans. So will have to use the photo as ... morea guide and play around with the wall locations. Over the next few months I will be selling off an extensive collection of collectible 1870– 1900 era HO craftsman structures. For sale is a vintage to antique real photo post card and 3 additional original photos of what looks to me to be a lumber mill. Card and photos are not identified or dated. But the other cards from the same estate were dated early to mid 1920s and were of the Thlinket Packing Company and Funter Bay, Alaska. Note that the large dolly in the front of the photo on the postcard is labeled"TPC" Thlinket Packing Co. Card and photos are in good vintage condition. Looks like one of the photos may be of a pipe making factory. Regardless- pretty cool photos of antique machinery.

This real photo postcard measures a little under 3 1/2 in. by 5 3/8 in. Birds eye view Bunker Hill– 865” is the caption– postmark says Marshfield. Oregon Sep 4 1913– message says, in part, I’ve been hauling from the planing mill the last two days and this is a picture of it, the office, the barn and the mill boarding house.
