Vintage Texaco"Fire Chief" gas pump wooden base double pen swivel holder desk set. This is the cutest find. Pens are not included. 8 1/2" high x 12" wide x 3" deep. Green felt bottom remains intact. The pump and pen holders are metal. There is a metal gas pump handle that is attached to a white hose that can be removed from the holder. Retains all of the original stickers. One could use a little glue to resecure it. I do not know the maker of this piece. Sheaffer and Esterbrook come to mind. Antique VICTORIAN FIRE SCREEN Wood Panel Applied Gesso Southern Bell Floral This is a wonderful antique wood panel fire screen featuring a Southern Bell standing beside a stone fence. Along with a roofed structure and flowering trees. The design appears to be possibly made of gesso or a similar substance and was applied. Piece by piece, to the wood panel. The panel stand on gold or brass finished"feet" and has a attached handle/ finger hold on the back. These screens were used to deflect the heat from the fireplace and to protect the people from flying embers and ash. Approx. measurements of the screen is 20 1/8" wide by 29" tall. The metal legs at base measures 7" wide. Wonderful antique condition with some age appropriate spotting and wear. T here is age appropriate crackling to the gesso design a s shown. And one ... moregesso leaf missing. Which is amazing considering it's age and use. The brass or brass finished feet have some scuffs and wear to finish. Really a wonderful antique fire screen. This Hartford Fire Insurance Co brass and wood plaque is about 8 ½ by 12 inches. And the brass part is about 6 ¼ by 9 inches. The plaque reads This Agency Has Represented The Hartford Fire Insurance Company With Distinction Since 1930. And underneath has the name W.F. Teasley. The plaque shows a stag in relief. And underneath it in small letters it says Modeled By Lavra Gardin Fraser after Landseer. This was found in Nashville. TN. But I don’t know what city/state it originally came from. The wood has some small scratches along the top edge where it meets the brass– see last photo. And some scattered small scuffs and scratches, nothing major. The brass has a few dark spots and a little surface wear but is in overall pretty nice shape. Overall. Very nice vintage condition on this interesting Hartford Insurance item. Purchased at a small private aircraft hanger. Total horn and wooden handle only is approx 24 inches. plastic horn measures 17" long with a 4-1/4" opening. Stamped 15-20-C0. Black wooden handle is 6" x 1-1/4" no cracks. Inside nozzle looks to be brass. This wand was removed from a 1967 model f1500v fyr-fyter 15 lb carbon dioxide extinguisher. Plastic horn has normal wear scratches, still flexable, and the metal horn mount has some surface rust along with the alum label will need some cleaning. all hardware is included to mount. Flexable 30-31 inch hose with 1/2 inch spot of the outer top plastic cover peeled off as shown in picture, should not affect performance only appearance. Vintage retro electric fireplace insert with real wood logs. Insert is in working condition cord is solid no splits or dryness. Switch is a thumb roll style that rolls forward/backwards freely. Due to age use and storage issues red color on light bulb is crackled. Small wire that rotates plastic insert is missing not sure how hard it would be to make a new one. Plastic"flame" insert has a few pushed in sections also a very small rip on top edge, when finger is run across top edge you can feel it/ not seen. Logs are in great solid condition no cracks, chips or splinters. There are staples on both sides, did not want to remove them for fear of damage. Plastic front face is in solid condition no cracks or repairs. All sections of this piece need a quick cleaning due to being in storage for quite a few years. It is completely unmark ... moreso exact age and maker are unknown. Measures approx. 12" tall from highest tip of logs to base, approx. 20 3/4" wide and approx. 7" deep.
