For sale I have a vintage Dayton scale made by Hobart Manufacturing Company of Troy Ohio. It features adjustable legs and a bullseye level for accurate setup. The back features a display window so customers can see the weight as well. The shopkeepers side features a magnifying. Price computing scale reading in 1 ounce increments. It has been tested and seems to be functioning well. It will need adjustment. The glass on the front and back are cracked as pictured. Up for auction is a Hobart scale that is in great used operating condition. This was used previously in a baking business but looks to be in almost new condition. I am selling this for a friend. It is a model AMERI 28984BJ. It measures 13” by 12” by 5” high. It is powered from 12 volts and I do have the adapter that plugs into the wall. It is still sealed from the last time it was calibrated by the New Jersey Department of Weights and Measures in 2010. This unit appears to have the ability to weigh and then display a unit price and then a total price. This is a very nice unit in fantastic condition. This heavy-duty Hobart digital scale is straight out of your local supermarket's deli counter. Thirty pound capacity. Built like a tank, and made to last. Programmable to accept multiple PLU's(price look-ups) I do not have the box, nor the accompanying literature, nor the manufacturer's supervisor key. The programming instructions and replacement keys are available from the manufacturer. Quite functional even without programming: simply use it as an ordinary scale for your own little shop or deli. Weighs about twenty-five pounds. In extremely good shape, all things considered. No deep scratches, dents or gouges, and no odors or greasy residue. All the red LEDs on both the front and rear panels seem to work just fine. I saw none that were questionable or not working.
