Dayton Meat Counter Scales
Up for bids is a very nice set of vintage Meat Counter Sales. These are Dayton brand scales and I would say they are from the 1950- 1960 range. Enamel is all good and the scales do work. According to some ads. These scales might have lighted in the weight roller area, but these do not currently light. We have no idea if they ever did as they are in the same state they were in when we bought them some time ago. Very heavy.so these will be local pickup only. We are moving, so these scales will need to be paied for and picked up within 10 days of the end of the auction. We must be out of current location by April 21st, so delays in pickup are not an option on this item.

A Vintage Susie Cooper Meat Platter in Dresden Spray Pattern It measures 14 inches(355mm) by 11 inches(280mm) It is backstamped with the Leaping Deer and" A Susie Cooper Production. Burslem, England" the number 1140 This is the famous Dresden Spray pattern dating from 1936. This plate has quite a few cutlery marks but has no cracks or chips whatsoever. It is in good condition if somewhat worn but this is commensurate with its age and therefore acceptable. Here is an awesome piece of the highly collectible and historic Buffalo Pottery's Blue Willow pattern dishware. I find no cracks. Chips or significant crazing on this lovely gem. This particular piece came from an old northern New Hampshire estate and would make a fine addition to anyone's collection! The platter is approximately 12 inches by 9 inches. Bernardaud Limoges Meat platter, 18 inches, rare, beautiful condition
Vintage Bernardaud Limoges 18 inch Meat Platter. Very rare- in excellent condition: no chips, stains, cracks, or crazing. This is vintage so there may be some light utensil marks. Also the rims on the backs of the plates show the most wear with occasional scuffing- no chips. Note the indentations in the platter for meat seen most clearly in picture 2 We found this at an estate sale in Huntington Beach. Ca and have been unable to identify the pattern. The china has been in storage for at least 10 years and belonged to a famous editor at the now defunct Herald Examiner. I know that it is not a contemporary pattern as I have checked the Bernardaud website. I have also checked my resources of discontinued websites and can not find this pattern any where. I have now written directly to Bernardaud asking for their help in identifying these pieces. ... moreThis could possibly be a special order china. Bernardaud Limoges FOU TCHEOU Meat Platter w Gravy Well
~ Spectacular ~ This wonderful pattern is called Fou-Tcheou. It was made in Limoges. France by Bernardaud from 1986 to 1998. This is a very large serving platter with a molded gravy well. It has an Asian flair and would complement Asian. British Colonial, Aesthetic or modern decor. The photos don't do it justice. It has a large rim with red geometric trim on the edge. There are flowered motifs on the rim. The verge has a red cobblestone pattern with cartouches and flowers. The center of the platter has an urn with flowers. It is pure white porcelain. The dominant color is red but there are shades of yellow. Green, orange, blue, purple, black. It displays beautifully on the dinner table or as a display plate. Condition: No chips. Plater is white porcelain and has pink flower design. It is 16" long 11" wide and 3" high. Meat platter is in great condition for its age. No chips or cracks, but the gold rim is almost gone.
