A vintage KitchenAid Hobart model FC food grinder/ meat chopper. Will fit any Kitchen Aid stand mixer with the standard attachment hub. Includes aluminum body. Auger, and end cap, steel plates and four-blade knife, wooden pusher, paperwork, and box. In addition to the normal coarse and fine plates, this unit comes with an extra fine plate that was available as an additional accessory. This grinder features the rectangular feed and a metal body that is much more durable than the newer plastic ones. Grinder is used. But in good condition and is ready to be put to use in your kitchen. There is normal wear to all of the metal parts, and some rounding of the bottom of the wooden pusher from use. This looks to be in very good, barely used, if at all condition. This attachment will fit vintage, as well as modern KitchenAid Stand Mixers, as long as they have the attachment socket/ cap on the front of head. I tried it out on the vintage KitchenAid stand mixer model K45, that I am also selling today on Ebay, and it turned without any interruption. This comes with all the pieces you see in the photo. For Sale. A Vintage KitchenAid Stand Mixer METAL Food Chopper/ Grinder from Hobart Mfg Acquired as part of my Grandfathers estate. Although very confident it was my Grandmothers, the attachment was located on the storage shelves in the basement, along with several other attachments, which will be listed shortly The Food Chopper appears to be only very slightly used- it is very clean. I would bet it was used only a few times, as the bottom of the wood stomper shows only minimal wear. The wood stomper does have what I would think is a manufacturing error on the side– looks like a chip, although it is smooth to the touch. KitchenAid vintage metal food chopper/meat grinder that attaches to a stand mixer. This is a seven piece set- all shown in the first photo. The largest piece is the grinder attachment. On that is a little diagram that shows how to assemble the grinder. All the necessary pieces are here. Plus one extra grinding plate, and wooden mallet. This fits together easily and the pieces are in good condition. It as far as I know still a working piece. I wanted to make a table lamp out of it. It's large and I think too heavy to hang at almost 22 lbs. It would also be great with a plant inside. Or hey- as a whisk for a commercial mixer. It was completly filthy when I got it. I washed it but it still needs to be washed/detailed more as you can see in photos.
