I LOVE THIS POT! I'm having major separation anxiety over selling it because I know I'll never find another one. If I were not in a cash crunch. This would not be on ebay. All-Clad made very few of these. Even when these were in production. You had to hunt forever to find one. Now, they don't make the LTD line anymore. And they don't make a 20 qt stock pot in any of their lines(at least none that I can find) On the All-Clad website, they don't list anything over 12 qt. I did find a 20 qt Stainless Steel listed elsewhere in ebay, but the box said"Made in China" in other words, not the REAL All-Clad quality from Canonsburg. PA. Photos are. Measurements Here's why ... moreyou would want this pot: a. If you want large volume. But still want All-Clad quality, this is the pot to have. I use it for making chicken stock. B ecause this pot makes so much at once. I can stock up the freezer in no time. Special events: My friend once borrowed this pot because she didn't own one big enough to"make gumbo for a crowd" b. It has that great All-Clad heat distribution. Without weighing a ton. Weight is a serious consideration in a large pot because the contents themselves can be heavy. For example. 20 qt of water weighs 40 lbs. The weight of the pot would be IN ADDITION to that 40 lbs. So, ask yourself: How much more weight can I handle? And don't forget, it's those last few pounds which get you. My 13-1/4 qt. enameled-cast-iron Le Creuset pot weighs 21.2 lbs. EMPTY! In contrast. This All-Clad 20 qt pot weighs only 9.8 lbs. That's 11.4 lbs LIGHTER and nearly 7 qt LARGER than the Le Creuset! Le Creuset's cast iron gives a wonderful slow. Steady, gentle heat- but so does All-Clad LTD. Rare 20 Qt. 5 Gallon Snow Ball Ice Cream Freezer Hit Miss Engine White Mountain
In good shape for the age 1913. Just needs some good TLC. It is old and has some wear as you can see in the photos. Older than the White Mountain I just sold. One metal tank is in good shape. The seam may need to be soldered again and some rust spots repaired or buffed out. The other tank is missing the bracket that keeps tank turning with the lid and will need some rust spots repaired and the lid has had a chip on top repaired also will need seam soldered. The wood is in all good shape with some wear inside. Metal is in good shape with no breaks or welds and the gears look good.
