Bobcat 100 Backhoe Excavator Loader Dozer Trackhoe
Elk Forest Farms. Inc. has a Bobcat 100 hydraulic excavator up for sale. The hour meter reads 3781 hours. We bought the machine with a bad engine. We ripped the old engine and pump out and installed an almost new 4-cylinder Kubota engine and hyd. pump into the machine. I aquired this setup from a street sweeper truck that has only 400 hours on this engine and pump. This setup was bigger so we had a brand new hood made for the machine and the old hood was damaged anyhow. The 4-cylinder Kubota diesel engine starts very easy and has no visable blow-by when hot. The engine compartment is clean with no visable leaks. The hydraulic operations seem to work well. We also installed a brand new boom lift cylinder on the machine. It had to be custom made cause the old one got damaged beyond repair from pushing the machine around when it was inoperable. ... moreI was going to paint it but I have too many to paint and I am getting backed up by the day. So you are buying it without paint and a seat. The seat frame is there. You can buy a universal seat for around $55-$75 from your local tractor dealer. The machine has a nice thumb on it. It works with the bucket linkage. I do not have a door for the machine. Please view the youtube.com video below. The hydraulic system works well. The machine is very strong. The machine has a factory JRB hyd. bucket quick coupling system that works great. I have a set of brand new sprockets that go with the machine and also a full set of manuals, parts and repair. The undercarraige looks to be in pretty good shape. We have been using it around the yard for the past several months loading and unloading equipment. It works great. I see no cracks, breaks, or welds on the boom and dipper. It looks to have the original paint on the machine. The original seat can use redone. All compartments looks clean with no visable leaking. There is no heavy rusting or rotting on the machine.
