Bobcat 100 Backhoe Excavator Loader Dozer Trackhoe
Elk Forest Farms. Inc. has a Bobcat 100 hydraulic excavator up for sale. The hour meter reads 3781 hours. We bought the machine with a bad engine. We ripped the old engine and pump out and installed an almost new 4-cylinder Kubota engine and hyd. pump into the machine. I aquired this setup from a street sweeper truck that has only 400 hours on this engine and pump. This setup was bigger so we had a brand new hood made for the machine and the old hood was damaged anyhow. The 4-cylinder Kubota diesel engine starts very easy and has no visable blow-by when hot. The engine compartment is clean with no visable leaks. The hydraulic operations seem to work well. We also installed a brand new boom lift cylinder on the machine. It had to be custom made cause the old one got damaged beyond repair from pushing the machine around when it was inoperable. ... moreI was going to paint it but I have too many to paint and I am getting backed up by the day. So you are buying it without paint and a seat. The seat frame is there. You can buy a universal seat for around $55-$75 from your local tractor dealer. The machine has a nice thumb on it. It works with the bucket linkage. I do not have a door for the machine. Please view the youtube.com video below. The power ... moreassociation simply replaced it with a new one because of age which is governed by a replacement schedule, not because of any issue or problems, been in a strict maintenance schedule since day#1. Several things that can clearly be seen in the photos and video, the seat has a tear in it and tape has been placed over it, the body of the unit has scratches& dents, the rubber pads/tracks have several nicks and notches in them, the lower boom pins/bushings are great, the section where the lower boom and outer boom connect has some slack, the bucket connection has some slack(watch the video) the turn table has very little to no slack in it, none of the things mentioned keep the machine from working properly and performing on a job just trying to point out any and everything that make it a used machine and not a new one. I have a very nice power house mini excavator. This little excavator is very powerful and will dig 78 inches deep with no problem. It has a hydraulic powered backfill blade. These little excavator are excellent for drains. Waterlines, basement waterproofing, landscapers and in tight places where a large excavator can not fit. This is very easy to transport to. The only leak on the unit that I have noticed is a line on the manifold inside the RH compartment.Other than that, nothing leaks!
