2011 L3940DT Kubota Tractor with Accessories
This L3940DT Kubota tractor was purchased new from a Bangor Maine Kubota dealer in June of 2011. It has been mostly for snow remov al around our farm. The tractor has been well maintained and just had its 100 hour servicing. It has appro ximately 130 hours as of this listing. We will be continuing to use it until sold so this number may change a little. The paint on the bucket still looks fresh. It has a quick attach skid steer coupler with a 72" bucket on a LA724 loader. This is a 4 c ylind er. 4WD, Diesel tractor with block heater. Loaded rear tires, and a manual t ransmission. Net horsepower is 38.5 and PTO horsepower is 33. PTO works great but has never been used. Total weight of tractor with ROPS is 3.252 pounds. The tractor comes with an industrial series skid steer pallet fork with heavy duty frame. A 65 inch utility/manure bucket is useful to have on any farm for manure pick up and general all around pick up of materi als where you want only the item and not the soil around it. The BX 25 is a great tractor to have around the house. Farm or for the contactor that works in confined spaces from time to time. These tractors are known for their versatility and strength and this particular tractor adds the versatility of the optional 60 inch mowing deck, which makes it even more useful. When looking through eBay to see what kind of price I should ask for this tractor. I noticed that most BX 25s were being offered at about the $ 15,900.00 price. In 2011, that was about the cost of these tractors, without the mower deck and the 3-point hitch. The 60 inch mowing deck however added over $ 2,000.00 to that original price and the 3 point hitch(which has actually not yet been used by the way) added another couple hundred dollars to the price tag on this one. The rear tires are loaded with windshield washer fluid just to lower the center of gravity a bit more and the 60 inch mower deck is the largest available deck on this model. The mowing deck comes with anti-scalp rollers also. This same Kubota BX25 for the 2013 model year with the same options lists for $ 21,846.00 on Kubota.com, without the loaded tires. This has the R4 tires, which does not rip up my yard but it does provide better performance and wear than turf tires on paved and stone surfaces. Most of the 40.1 hours on this tractor have been accumulated mowing the grass at the house. I have used both the hoe and the loader from time to time however and the buckets are just about the only place to show much in the way of use. This tractor looks good and everything on it works as it should. I might end up putting another 1/2 hour on this tractor running it long enough to demonstrate it to buyers.
