MANKATO VCF in Frac Rack format Thomas Henry Magic Smoke designed. Built by Dingebre. Includes a standard frac power cable and mounting screws. Mankato Filter(Thomas Henry-Magic Smoke design) which also doubles as an octature sine wave generator for LFO and audio use. Quadrature means you get four LFO signals. Each each with a phase difference of 90 degrees from the previous. Octature gives you the same four quadrature signals plus another 4 offset at 45 degree phase shifts. The filter outputs are 1. 2, 3 and 4 pole lowpass outputs as well as inverted versions of the above. The inverted versions can be mixed with the dry signal and or combinations of the non-inverted versions to create numerous other filter responses through partial cancellation of the signal. Metasonix R55 Thyratron VCO Eurorack Synthesizer Oscillator Module
Up for sale today is my second(of two. See my other auctions for its partner in crime) Metasonix R55 Tube VCO Module. This module has been producing grand. Gratifying(and, when necessary, grating and grinding! sonic oscillations in my home studio for the last three years. It has seen light. Occasional use and is perfect working(and sounding! order. The R-55 is essentially one of the VCOs in the legendary S-1000 Wretch Machine in a 22U Eurorack module. It produces the notorious“sharkfin” sawtooth waveform of thyratron VCOs. Replete with the weird pitch variations and apparent“noisiness” of a thyratron oscillator. Turn up the overdrive control. And the oscillator output clips the output amplifier pentode tube, for a unique soft-clipped square-wave sound. The simplicity of the R-55 will fool you-its behavior is erratic and weird, it always sounds“broken” ... moreand the waveform is“deviated” in every way. You don't even need to feed it Hz/v CV: just run a square-wave or pulse signal from a conventional VCO into a pitch CV input, and it will“force” the R-55 to track along with the other VCO. CV response: Hz/v. Giving about 1.5 octaves of usable range with a Kenton Pro-Solo MIDI/CV. Up for sale today is one of the main oscillators from my eurorack modular synth. For three years it has proved a great sounding and functioning oscillator with some really nice features. Tunable from ridiculously LF to way up in the piercing. Squeaky territory, and all this in three waveshapes, each with variable pulsewidth/ waveshape. A wonderful addition to any eurorack modular! From the SchneidersLaden website: The RS95 by Analogue solutions is a premium. British sounding VCO with waveshaping possiblities. It is based on the RS90 but has more features, predominantly a very special sine wave. The RS95e presented here is technically identical but instead a normal frequency control it features a gorgeous, lockable( potentiometer with ten turns. That allows precise fine tune control and adds the look of an EMS synthesizer to the VCO. The RS95e ... morehas three audio outputs: pulse. Triangle and sine. The upper shape control affects the pulse width. Hi there. Bought for a studio project, now for sale, whole bunch of others too, check it out! here is some more information, all the best M the synthesis technology e340 contains 8 sine and sawtooth vcos with unique modulation capabilities. the term'cloud oscillator' was first used by ambient musician when he was recording his'bestiary' cd. he wanted to define a new type of"buzzing. Swarming cloud of sine waves" and after some experimentation, was able to create such a timbre using 24 individual motm modules. now, 8 years later, the technology is available to have this new range of sounds in a 14hp wide euro module. in its basic form. The e340 is a 2-output, wavetable vco that is generating 16 waveforms at once. modular users quickly discover that in order to get the large, fat notes multiple oscillators are needed ... morethat are slightly detuned. this can get expensive quickly, and then you have to deal with the tracking differences, additional mults for the cables and mixers for the outputs. the e340 combines all of these, eliminates the tracking errors and adds the added dimension of being able to control just how"buzzy" the cloud can go. if spread and chaos are set to'0' the e340 behaves like a standard analog vco, but with a very pure sinewave output(less than 0.3% thd) and a standard sawtooth wave. simple detuning can sound really good. But the e340 adds 2 controls never seen on any modular: chaos and chaos bandwidth(bw) once you set the degree of detuning using the spread control, you can then add'animation' to the detuning by dialing in chaos. the chaos randomly'wiggles' every vco's pitch, while the chaos bw controls the'speed of the wiggle' this adds the"swarming of bees" effect at the extreme settings, and in the low settings the subtle pitch changes are similar to a slow-speed leslie effect. if monster bass lines and sawtooth leads(like the old roland supersaw jp8000 setting) are what you want. The Furthrrrr Generator has a main oscillator(carrier) with an extensive and fully voltage controllable wave mulitplier and a modulation oscillator(modulator) that can crossmodulate the carrier. Each oscillator has hard and soft sync and also featrues an integrated tuner: if both LEDs are lit the VCO is at note A. Left LED is lit at note Ab and right LED at A# Frequency potentiometers are ten-turn models and thus allow for eeazy tuning. Original owner. from Bubblesound: uLFO The ulfo is an voltage-controlled analog low frequency oscillator based around a classic triangle core vco running through a series of waveshapers. Giving the user an extremely wide range of outputs and modulation options. In the low range the ulfo will take over 60 minutes to complete a cycle and will go up to 40hz. The high range goes from 4 minute cycles at the lowest up to 3.6khz at the top of its range, making this a very good low and mid range vco as well as an outstanding lfo. The ulfo offers 7 simultaneous outputs; saw. Ramp, pulse, triangle, sine and shaped sine and the square output is available as the sync out. The pulse and shapes sine are voltage-controlled and have attenuated inputs. The pulse width modulation works like ... moremost others, from going from 0-100% with either the pwm pot or with control voltage. But the shaped sine is fairly unique in the modular world. This allows a sine wave to be swept from a positively biased non-linear triangle down to a negatively biased non-linear triangle. An example of this can he found here. The two frequency modulation inputs offer both linear and exponential modulation with attenuation pots of the incoming control voltage. SynthTech: The Synthesis Technology E340 contains 8 sine and sawtooth VCOs with unique modulation capabilities. The term'cloud oscillator' was first used by ambient musician Robert Rich when he was recording his'bestiary' cd. He wanted to define a new type of"buzzing. Swarming cloud of sine waves" and after some experimentation. Was able to create such a timbre using 24 individual MOTM modules. Now, 8 years later, the technology is available to have this new range of sounds in a 14hp wide euro module. In its basic form. The E340 is a 2-output, wavetable VCO that is generating 16 waveforms at once. Modular users quickly discover that in order ... moreto get the large. Fat notes multiple oscillators are needed that are slightly detuned. This can get expensive quickly, and then you have to deal with the tracking differences.
