10.358 GHz PLL brick oscillator by Magnum Microwave. Model PLX31-08. Contains an ovenized crystal(TO-5 size) oscillator, and the crystal can easily be changed. Here, I'm using an SC-cut 101.54700 MHz XTAL, and the cavity oscillator is phase locked to the X17 harmonic of the crystal or 1726.3 MHz. The multiplier block/filter is X6, and the 10.357794 GHz output is 18 dBm. With the right crystal you can easily make a 10.368 GHz beacon, or a 10.224 GHz LO. I think someone retuned the multiplier block filter to pass 10.2-10.4 GHz(as it was originally at 10.45-10.75 GHz. Requires a well-regulated-20 VDC supply at about 0.4 A. The spectrum analyzer(at 1 MHz/div) cables, and attenuators are not included in auction. This clean brick is in very nice condition, tested to work, and the crystal is included. HP Agilent 8697A RF Plug-In for 8690 sweep oscillator & MORE - READ !!
Hewlett Packard 8690B Sweep Oscillator Mainframe(S/N#937-01634) with Hewlett Packard Model 8697A(S/N# 822-00219) 26.5GHz to 40GHz RF Plug-in. These items both appear functional and the mainframe has the correct scale for the plug-in. The AC Power cord IS included with this instrument. I have performed a quick. Crude test to verify the items operate. The 26.5 to 40GHz RF plug-ins BWO(Backward Wave Oscillator) appears to have good output. I assume this due to the fact that it is easily radiating enough RF output from the Waveguide port to be picked up by the Waveguide harmonic Mixer lying near by that is connected to the spectrum analyzer that I am using to measure the signal. Due to the age of these items and eBay protocol I am selling BOTH of these items for PARTS or REPAIRS since I have not fully checked them out. The Sale DOES NOT include ... morethe spectrum analyzer or Harmonic Mixer that appears in the pictures. They are just there to demonstrate the operation of the RF Sweep Oscillator. The items are in good but not excellent overall physical condition. The plastic dial scale has a small chip missing at the far right side that does NOT affect anything- just mentioning it to be complete and the muffin fan in the mainframe was a bit noisy on start up so it will be due for replacement at some time. It is a standard appx 4-inch square. 120VAC MUFFIN fan commonly available. Please see the pictures for more details. The HP 8690B is a rugged beautifully constructed piece of equipment. Various other plug-ins are available on the used market(But not included I do not have) covering the 100MHz to 50GHz frequency range in multiple bands. I have packaged the mainframe and plug-in(separately in the same box) very well with foam and bubble wrap in a sturdy box for shipment as shown in a picture attached to the ad. Vintage HP Hewlett Packard 200AB 200 AB Audio Oscillator tube analog
Description: What we have you you here is a vintage Hewlett Packard model 200AB audio oscillator. The 200AB will produce a sine wave from 20Hz to 40kHz. Included with this unit is a copy of the manual printed from a pdf found on the web. This unit will power up and has been tested. It took a while to begin making sound the first time but once it came to life it appeared to work perfectly. I used a Korg chromatic tuner to determine if the dial was accurately representing the frequency of the sine wave and it was pretty close. It appears to be slightly sharp. Not a full semi-tone up, according to the tuner. The casing shows some cosmetic wear and tear which is to be expected from a unit this age(estimating it to be around 50 years old) There is a"PROPERTY OF US GOVERNMENT" decal on one side of the unit as well as stenciled"40-180" ... moreon both sides and"M3791" written on each side in marker. The power plug is missing the ground prong. The cabinet is all metal so this is not some flimsy toy. I imagine this 200AB will need some calibration and routine maintenance but it does produce a tone.
