But never got around to making it a reality. These were working when pulled from service though I have never personally used them. All switches are stepped and the build quality appears to be excellent. A few details about each module: ADM 2780: The mic input gain ranges from +8 to-22db for line input up to-35db until-80db for mic input. This pre can work with line level signal all the way through ribbon microphones. ADM 1540: The sweep for the eq range from +/ 12 db with 5 points. The first three at +/ 2/4/6 db& the last two at +/ 9& 12 db. RCA 50-A INDUCTOR MICROPHONE*MI 4030-C* This is an awesome Vintage Microphone. My Grandfather lived to be over 100 years old. Had a career in radio(doing technical work to keep signals up-and-running, etc) and was even personal friends with Dan Rather. He loved electronics and would even take apart all sorts of radios and other electronics just to see how they worked. After he passed away, my wife and I found some old microphones and wanted to keep some of them to remember him by. We can't keep them all, so we are selling the ones we think a collector or someone who understands these types of things would appreciate. They're authentic, and definitely old. Vintage General Radio 107L Variable Inductor, 1-5mh, Tested & Working Guaranteed
This listing is for a Vintage General Radio 107L Variable Inductor. 1-5mh, 15W max. It is in excellent working order. Tested, working and still in(or close to) calibration, to the limits of our equipment's ability to test. In serial configuration. We set it to 1.0mh and saw 1.001mh on our B+K 875A LCR Meter. We also saw 1.5 Ohms DC Resistance on our Fluke(which conforms with the 1.54 Ohms nominal on the data plate) In parallel configuration, we set it to 1.25mh(5mh/4) and saw 1.249mh on our LCR meter. It is in good vintage cosmetic condition. Completely intact with just some scuffs and scratches- please see pics. Here is a nice vintage spinner tuning knob that is ideal for your ham radio receiver or turning the roller inductor in your antenna tuner or amplifier. This spinner knob looks like the fluted knobs used on vintage Johnson Viking equipment. It is 1 1/2" in diameter and i s of heavy bakelite or plastic construction. It has a brass insert that accepts a 1/4" shaft. Two set screws attach the knob to the shaft. This knob is in very nice condition and the spinner turns smoothly. I have tested it on my 75 meter antenna and it will tune all bands 80 through 10 with no problem. I don't know how it will do at 1500 watts. But I really would not be afraid to try it. The rotary inductor will need cleaning and lubed, but other than that it looks good to me. But I don't know, that is the reason I am selling as parts or restore.The meter operates in the forward, but not in reflected. The turns counter is probably Millen or B& W. No schematic available. White 4100a inductor based equalizer. Fantastic sounding stereo equalizer. This one is in pristine condition and is one of the last versions before they were discontinued. All pots are smooth and static/crackle free(a rare thing for these vintage EQs) Also has both input and output transformers(also a rare find for a 4100a) I've owned several of these and have never come across one in this good of condition. Great EQ for mixing and mastering. I sold one of these to a mastering engineer in LA a couple years ago who asked me to not disclose that he bought one of these from me( I guess he didn't want clients to know he was using something inexpensive. Vox V848 Wah Pedal With Whipple Inductor And New Hot Potz Potentiometer
Works great. I put a new pot in because the old one was scratchy and I couldn't sell it like that in good conscience. People often sell wahs with worn out pots on eBay so buyer beware! This one has a brand new pot though so no worries. The pot cost $28 and took an hour to install. IMHO this makes it a much better deal. Almost every time I have bought a used Wah off eBay the pot is worn out and they never say that in the listing. Such a drag. But this one is brand new and better then stock. Will last a lifetime. So if your comparing this Wah to another on eBay. Keep in mind there is a high probability the pot will be worn out unless it's new. The whipple inductor mod is an improvement in my opinion but we all have are own taste. I am also including the original inductor.
