What a monster! This assembly has markings that indicate that it was from a GE MRI machine. Condition completely unknown. although I used a meter to measure all 4 IGBT modules. And none of them are shorted. They all read the same diode meter setting values. Each of the 4 IGBTs are a Toshiba MG200Q2YS40 dual N channel module, with the two internal transistors in series. Rated 1200V at 200A per module. I will assume that the modules are arranged in some form of bridge, or possibly 2 bridge formations. There is a board above each module on oversized brass standoffs. two of them are simply snubbers, while two of them include other circuitry. There is a board in the center that is clearly a gate driver assembly, with 8 identical circuits. The heavier wiring is 8 awg wire. On one end of the unit are mounted: 4ea Dale RH50 50W 10 ohm 1% and 8ea ... moreDale RH25 25W 100 ohm 1% resistors. This beastie weights almost 18 lbs, since the aluminum heat sink is about a foot by a foot. Yikes! don't build a bridge from scratch, modify this one.
