For sale is a lot of vintage bakelite dress clips and brooch/pin. All three pieces are hand carved and in good used condition. The golden yellow dress clip measures 2-1/4 inches long. 3-4 inches high and a little over a quarter inch thick. The clip on this is noce and tight and overall condition is very good, there is one tiny white spot in one of the cuts, I am not sure what it is. Up for bid is a fabulous pair of Vintage Estate 14K Gold Oval Cabochon Lapis Lazuli Clip-On Earrings. Each earring measures 7/8ths of an inch long by 11/16ths of an inch wide and 5/16ths of an icnh from front to back(not including back clips. Each oval cabochon Lapis stone has lovely darker blue and golden speckled marbled stones. The stones has a multiple prong setting with a twisted flat rope border. Each earring has"14K" marked on the back of the clips. These earrings have also been acid tested by my Jeweler and tested positive for 14K gold. The earrings weigh in at 9.79 Grams. Vtg Bakelite Chunky Round Bead 27"Necklace&Clip Earrings/Root Beer Amber/Tested+
Up for auction is this beautiful Bakelite set. Matching necklace and clip earrings. The necklace is 27" long. The beads are round and about 2/3" in diameter. The beads in the earrings each have a bead the same 2/3" size, plus two smaller ones. There is no makers mark. These have been tested and both the necklace and the earring beads clearly are positive for Bakelite. The color is an amber/root beer sort of shade. And mostly translucent with swirling. This Bakelite is a wonderful warm color and the beads are in gorgeous condition. I don't see any cracks or chips. The dots of white you see are glare/reflection. The clasp on the necklace is a barrel type. Goldtone with age, the necklace is knotted between each bead. The earrings are clip and the metal on them is goldtone and in very good condition.
