This is a Burndy Y750 Revolver Hypress Hand-Operated Hydraulic Crimper. These are normally used by electricians and service installers to crimp large cables. All components are in used condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear from normal use and storage. The metal case is solid, I spray painted the back as there was some writing on it. Hinge works fine and both locking clasps hold the case shut properly. Some denting on the inside and outside, but no major damage otherwise. The case has a tray to store dies in it as well, the tray is removable. The tool is in good condition as well. When the lever is pumped. The crimp area properly compresses. When the max pressure is reached, a small"pop" can be heard, at that time you twist the handle/lever and close it to release the crimping head. It looks to be in good operating order. This Y46 Hypress may work perfectly or it may not. In order to be honest here on ebay. I have listed it as'Used for parts and/or not Working' because I can't be sure that it works- I have no way of hooking it up to test it and also don't know how BUT I was told by the person who I got it from that it works. This is a Y46 Brundy Hypress with the black box. It is used with signs of rust on the case. I acquired this and do not know anything about the specifics like how it is used. I was told by the person I got it from that it does work but I can't guarantee it because I haven't hooked it up and don't even know how. So, there may be a problem with it or it might work perfectly. Also, I'm not sure if it has all of the crimpers that usually come with it or not. From the looks of it all the crimpers are matching ... morepairs. You will just have to be the judge of that by looking at the picture. This is a Hycor Hypress unit. It is designed for solids dewatering and solids transport conveyor. It has a rated capacity of 60 cubic feet per hour. This is used in a sewage or waste water treatment application. Or any other place where you wish to separate liquids from solids, and return the liquids while transporting the solids to a remote area or hopper. This lot contains the basic solids press assembly. A hydraulic power pack, and discharge piping, as well as the control panel. The unit is constructed with 304 stainless steel. The 5HP hydraulic power pack. And the stainless pipe included are probally worth more then my asking price. I was going to set this up as a concrete pump for slab jacking with a smaller 120v pump and a reducer at the end with a hose. The design is very similar to the commercial concrete jacking systems. The basic press consists of 10" diameter stainless steel cylinder adapted to contain the press ram and solids inlet hopper. Theo inlet hopper has a flange face to allow attachment of a chute or hopper extension. The bottom had a series of slots cut into the pipe wall to allow for dewatering drainage. a drain pan is under the unit to collect drainage and return to the process flow. The press ram is operated by a reciprocating hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder is attached to the ram head and is automatically controlled by the operating pressures and limit switches. The hydraulic pressure is provided by a 5HP 230/460v 3 ph motor driven pump. with a 10 gallon tank. The control panel was designed for 460v 3 phase power and is in a Nema 4 enclosure with standard industrial control switches on the front. The factory installation.
