Mid Century Vintage Duncan Medieval Bisque Chess Set in Cushioned Box
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this beautiful chess set. The pieces are all cast bisque and have Duncan's classic Medieval design. The king is about 4 inches tall. These come in a custom sized beautifully padded wooden case. The pieces are unusually colored.white with blue overtones and very very dark blue almost black with more blue overtones. There are no markings on the pieces and no makers mark on the wooden storage box for the pieces. This does not come with a board. Condition is used. Or at least displayed. Vintage 1978 Duncan Mold #DM-96D "PIG BOOKEND" Slip-Cast, Ceramic, Plaster
The Molds I have for sale came from an abandoned building that used to be a Ceramic Shop. After awhile the building was condemned and the roof collapsed. Some of the molds were destroyed but some were still intact. The building is going to be demolished and I got a chance to spend a few hours inside getting the more valuable molds out and are placing them on eBay for auction. Some pictures were digitally enhanced to bring out the details of the molds. It's very hard to see any details of the white molds without doing this. Some of the pictures may show some spotting or darker spots but these spots and not raised and the molds should still be usable. If there are any spots that may be a problem I used my figure in the pictures to point them out. These molds are used and I'm selling them as such. Vintage organ grinder from my mom thinks 1970. But others online are listing as 1960's which is possible. Music works and plays what I think is the"Trapeze Artist" and says on the back that Music is by Ted Duncan. Monkey is not attached to the metal pole, but the hands clasp together like it belonged on there- others on ebay are a different monkey.

It has the letters APHIBJ on the bottom. According to Duncan's website the last letter J stands for the person who actually wound the pickup. In this case, Maricela Juarez. Who is now Seymour Duncan's Custom shop manager. I read that this is the same kind of pickup in Slash's Les Paul used on several Guns and Roses albums. There are no cracks in the figurines. There are tiny chips on the bottom of several figurines which are documented in the photos(check photos using magnifier) There are nine figurines: A shepherd, shepherd boy, three wise men, a camel, Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus in a manger. I do not know the makers of these beautiful cups and saucers as they are not marked. But they look similar to a photo in a reference book of a pattern called Terrace#111 made by The Duncan Miller Glass Company. Each cup is squared off and stands 2" tall& measures approx. 3 1/2" across(not including the handle) Squared off saucer measures approx. 5 1/2" across and has a ray-like design in the bottom. Made of Ruby colored glass. Not bright red as photographed in the 1st two pictures. more like the color from the last four. Scarce Elegant Glass Pink Opalescent Three-Part Candy Dish in the#115 Canterbury Pattern. Produced by Duncan and Miller Glass Company, circa 1940. P ink opalescence is concentrated in the beaded handles and top edges of the dish. Measures approximately 7-1/2" across the top and 1-1/2" deep. The inner sections are 1" deep. Excellent vintage condition- One tiny dark speck is a piece of sand imbedded in the glass during production and some mild age scratches on polished base when held up to a light- No chips. Cracks, further scratches or glass cloudiness- Beautiful fiery opalescence in the light- Base is nicely polished.

Incredibly rare late 1970s Seymour Duncan SSL-1 matched pickup set for Stratocaster. All three are all in fantastic original condition with their original stickers on their black fiber bobbins. They are traditional black fiber bobbins with cloth-covered lead wires and staggered pole pieces. Neck pickup has 6" and 9" of original cloth-covered lead wires and meaures 6.57k. Middle pickup has 5" and 7" of original cloth-covered leadwires and measures 7.06k. Bridge pickup has 3" and 4" of the original cloth-covered leadwires and measures 7.59k.
