VINTAGE MINOX MODEL A/IIIS, MATCHING LIGHT METER & SLIDE CUTTER/VIEWER
You are bidding on a very rare VINTAGE SUBMINIATURE 1950’s MINOX MODEL A/IIIS. The matching LIGHT METER and the SLIDE CUTTER/VIEWER. These items were made in GERMANY. The camera has a Complan lens 1:35. F=15mm. This model of camera was introduced by MINOX in1954. It was the first MINOX with a PC Electrical contact to a flash synchronized shutter. A light meter was necessary with this MINOX model because it predates models with built-in light meters. The set we are selling was purchased in the mid to late 1950’s. Both the camera and light meter appear to be in excellent condition although we are not camera experts. The shutter function of the camera appears to be operating perfectly and the camera slides open smoothly. The leather cases of both the camera and the light meter are in very good condition with minimal signs of usage for a camera ... morethat is almost 70 years old. There is one slight nick at the top of the camera case that we have photographed. The chains on both of the instruments are in excellent condition. We are including in this sale the original owner’s manual. It is in excellent reading condition. But does show signs of usage and yellowing of pages from age. We are also including a MINOX SLIDE CUTTER/VIEWER. The magnifier is used but in nice condition; there are some scratches on the metal. But overall glass and metal look good. The lenses need to be cleaned but do not appear to have any significant scratching. This cutter/viewer is an excellent accessory to have with the camera. Here for auction from my personal collection is a RARE Lafayette KT-390 AM/CW transmitter from the past. This was a kit from the sixties that was a competitor to the Heath Kit DX-60. This transmitter covers 80-10 meters using crystals or VFO and has 90 watt input on CW and AM- controlled carrier on AM. Uses a 6146 in final. Shielded RF compartment and has built-in low pass filter. Transmitter has been checked on all bands and has 45-50 watt output- a little less on 10 meters. Has nice up- ward swing on AM transmit and has very good audio. Case is showing some paint loss on top but over-all for its age it is in good condition. Comes with copy of manual. Vintage American Meter Co New York Gas Pump Oil Meter Industrial Steam Punk
1920's- 1930's or earlier The American Meter Co. New York. Meter, or pump of some kind. I researched this piece, and could not find another one like it. It is brass and copper, with glass tubes at both ends. The band around the center reads 1/10 cu. ft. The round plate above that has the number 1050, and above that is the American Meter brass plate logo. There is a thin metal twist tie, with a round stamped tag that reads, B.S. No.2225 1934. On the other side of this tag is a logo that says National Bureau of Standards. A water meter/pump? I just have no idea! What ever this is, it is very cool looking, made of great materials, brass, copper& glass, and is a nice early piece! Measures approx. 19 inches long. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS.
