Vintage Industrial General Electric Polyphase Watthour Meter W/ Globe!
Here I have a general electric polyphase industrial size watthour meter Model BV6. It has all parts intact and the glass cover is great! It is a big one and I am unsure of what the working condition is or if it may be good for parts only but it does good! It actually came out of an elementary school back in the early 90's. My grandfather used to collect some crazy stuff so now I am trying to find homes for some of it! The meter is marked 2.5 amps 60 cyc. Type V-4A 4 wire 3 phase 277 Volts. The tag inside is#33 259298. The length of the whole meter is 14 5/8" by 7 1/2" wide. When laid on its back the glass and back of meter stand 7" Just the glass cover is about 5 1/4" and the length 11" approx. The measurement are as accurate as I could get without taking it all apart which I really didn't want to do in fear ... moreof breaking something! Rare Vintage 1950s John Deere Moisture Meter with Original Carrying Case/Box. All original. Original paint. Meter is in good condition for its age. Meter shows signs of age and wear. Use wear and everyday elements wear. Meter has surface rust throughout. But the most is on the bottom. No holes or rusting through. Some discoloration. See Pictures) There is cracking on the CLEAR plastic John Deere moisture dial protector slat in the center. Black moisture dial is in fine shape. Gauges are in fine shape. Meter seems to work. Have NOT tested it for grain moisture content. Meter is all metal except for the grain cup and clear plastic JD centerpiece slat. Moisture Grain Meter seems to be complete. Weight and grain cup are present. Bottom metal grain tray is present. Cord is in good shape. Black metal plaque on the back reads; 115 volts 60 cycles ... more10 watts, AN15062N, made for John Deere, Moisture Meter. John Deere carry box is in o.k.good condition. The original carrying case or box has been repaired. The bottom part of the box was replaced with a 2 1/2in. deep, heavy gauge tin or light steel tray. Bottom was rotted out. The box shows age and wear as well. The John Deere logo's are worn. The J and the H in John are mostly worn off. No top carry handle. See Pictures) The carry case is some kind of heavy gauge pressed cardboard or plastic like material? Its stiff and well made. John Deere meter was made in the late 1940s or early 1950s. The meter measures approx. 10in. deep(back-front) 8 1/4in. wide by 12in. tall. The carry box measures approx. 11 1/4in. deep(back-front) by 9 1/2in. wide by almost 13in. tall. The grain cup measures approx. 3 1/2in. x 4in. x 3in. tall. The John Deere Grain Moisture Meter and Case is heavy. More than 10 pounds. Vintage Sekonic L-8 Light Meter by Seiko. Original Leather Case In working order
Vintage Sekonic L-8 Light Meter- by Seiko. Comes in its original leather case. The light meter has a small dent in the bottom(the rounded end) but this won't impact usage and isn't major in any event. Aside from that. Only minor wear to the meter. The end flips open fine. The leather case has some wear but both the main catch and the restraining strap catch work as they should I have tested the meter by opening the flap and moving it to and from a low wattage light(as I didn't want to damage the sensitivity of the meter) and the needle does move across as you'd expect. However. I can't be absolutely sure that the measurement is accurate, as I have no way of properly testing it to that extent. It is a lovely item.

For sale is a vintage" WESTON MASTER II" Exposure/ Light Meter in a nice" DIAMOND" leather pouch. About 4" by 2 3/4" This little case opens from each end to reveal a side of the meter. One side opens to the meter side with" WESTON MASTER II UNIVERSAL EXPOSURE METER" Looks to be in great shape. The flip side has an intact compartment with a prism like lens. Has makers information(made in U.S.A. and patent dates(see picture) Great shape. Has neck strap attached. This'light' meter does come out of the case and goes back in easily and snugly.
