Vintage Duncan Parking Meter on Stand 2 Hour Time Limit Great Condition
Up for consideration is a beautiful working. Vintage Duncan Parking Meter that accepts 5 and 10 cent. 5 cents gets you a half hour and 10 cents get you and hour. It has a 2 Hour time limit and works accurately with both dimes and nickels. Unfortunately it does have the key with it but they can be made very cheap. I have done it several times. The meter is in good cosmetic shape for its age and perfect working condition. I come across these occasionally and this one is in great condition compared to others I have bought. The thick metal stock base measures 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" and has 4 holes for mounting(about 3/4" holes) It stands approximately 22" tall with stand and the fattest part if the meter is about 8" wide. You are bidding on a beautiful Rolleiflex 2.8F twin lens reflex camera. Serial number is 2.8F 2401184. This is a stunning camera and it works well. The glass is clean and clear. No fungus, no scratches, no haze. The shutter sounds correct at all speeds but may be a tiny bit fast at the slowest speeds( 1/2 and 1 second) I am being very critical and this is just by ear. The leatherette is perfect. There are three tiny case rubs in the paint, almost insignificant and hard to see. The meter works well. There is some minor crazing in the plastic on the side of the meter. It still views perfectly.Were it not for these it would be minty. As it is I still would rate it a 9 out of 10. The original cap is included as is the diffuser and the original case which I forgot to photograph. Vintage c.1920s General Electric Single Phase WattHour Meter. Good Condition
Up for auction is a very cool vintage G.E electric meter. It is a single phase watt hour meter. I can't quite make out from the brass plate what model type it is. But from the research I've done this type should date from the late 19teens to the 1920's[they started putting clear glass covers on them in the 1930s] The meter is in good condition cosmetically. There is some black stuff on the brass plate but that was scratching off with my thumb nail. I left it alone because I wasn't sure if it is supposed to be there. I took the cover off and it looks very clean inside. The wires coming out of the meter look fairly modern so it may have been in used fairly recently, but I have no idea how to test it so it is sold untested. Vintage General Radio 1551A sound level meter w/peanut vacuum tubes & nice mic
You are bidding on a General Radio portable sound level meter with fold-out collectible microphone. This is a pretty cool vintage meter. One of the nicest I've seen. The meter does not appear to be working. At least I can't generate any meter movement with it plugged in and trying different input settings. The battery contacts inside have some corrosion(no battery present) that needs to be cleaned up, and the shielded box inside that houses the tube componentry needs to be remounted as a couple of the isolation bushings that hold it in place have disintegrated with age. Probably not a difficult repair, and the peanut tube(or tubes, I didn't look inside the shielded box so not sure if there is more than one) and microphone have value on their own. The original detachable power cord- which is in very good condition given its age- ... moreis also included. Priced accordingly. Buyers. Barometer(reports from stormy, change, fair) Humidity Meter(reports from very dry, normal, humid) They are made of plastic and are adhered to a piece of paneling that measures about 15 5/8" x 5 3/4" The paneling has a small chip on the corner and the plastic dials have some use wear w/ minor cosmetic surface scratches/scuffs. Then the Stanley No 61 wooden marker with inch measurements on the side. And a leather case electrical meter. Model 327-T the meter goes from 0 to 4000 R.P.M. It is made by Triplet and has one cable with an aligator clip on it. The Leather case is made by Whitman Then the Sears Craftsman chalk line plumb line all metal with a box that has been taped. You are bidding on 1 used Duncan Parking Meter Mechanism. It is the internal part of a common parking meter. Fits Duncan meter housings. It works by inserting a quarter and turning the knob to wind the timer. After which the quarter falls out the bottom. When the time runs out the red expired flag pops up. Turning the handle makes a yellow violation flag pop up momentarily. It has been tested to wind with a quarter and tick. The back reveals a metal clockwork enclosed in a clear plastic cover. When wound by a coin the gears can be observed moving and it ticks. This is a complicated clockwork mechanism and is not warranted. However if it is not working on receipt I will exchange it. Makes a great conversation piece. Build a box for underneath and it's a bank, or find a new use.
