Vintage Weston Electrical Instruments Corp Model 528 AC Lab Voltmeter
Have a vintage Weston Electrical Instruments Corp. Newark N.J. USA Model 528 AC voltmeter. Meter is in good shape for it's age. There are no chips or cracks in the reddish brown and black bakelite case. The glass face has no chips or cracks. Meter arm moves freely when you move the piece around. There are 2 lead wires included with this meter. Both appear to be original and of the same period. There is some elecrical tape on the end of each wire by the metal electrodes. Apparently someone was getting a shock by touching the bare metal of the electrodes. Email any questions or requests for other photos. This William B. Duck Co. catalog has wireless components. Telegraph keys and sounders, radio transmitters and receivers, detectors, motors and is very interesting to look at. Copyright 1916. The front cover lower corner has been scotch taped. But is much less noticeable than the picture indicates. It looks like it had come off. The front and rear pages show some damage where the staples/glue are. The spine cover has a small tear at the bottom. The interior is very nice. I am not a knowledgeable book condition assessor, so look at the pictures closely.
