Only selling because I have this as a head only and it is more portable for me. That said. This is one sweet sounding mofo. This is the same amp Joe Morgan sells as the Abbey 15. The DAG15 was exclusively labeled for Destroy All Guitars on the net. Same amp- which is the top boost channel of a vintage Vox ac30 as Vox only wishes they built it. Truth be told. The quality of vintage Voxes varied greatly even in their heyday. Too much demand too fast and quality got spotty. After Tom Jennings and Dick Denny left, it was strictly a crapshoot. Nearly all Voxes from 1968 till 1990 were just echos of what was. This Morgan DAG 15 is the resurrection of all that Godly chime that shown through on the BEST of what ... moreVox EVER made. And these are reliable. Three 12ax7 preamp tubes. Two el84 power tubes and a gz34 rectifier. Mercurty Magnetic transformers and hand matched Sozo caps. All the top shelf goodies. 15 loud watts of delectable Brit voiced power. Gain control with pull bright, highly interactive bass and treble control and cut control to attenuate the highs. Power scaling as a master volume function. Speaker outs are two 8 ohm and one 16 ohm. Speaker is a Celestion g12h 30 Anniversary that kicks ass. Whole thing weighs about 43 pounds. This is the definition of grab and go- but also fly. Forget all the hand wired Vox Chinese reissues. Not bad- but not close. Hayseeds, Black Pearls, Brits and others are all fine- this is the finest. This 1972 all-tube Bandmaster Reverb head was professionally overhauled in December 2014 at Main Drag Music and works perfectly. The exterior details. Tolex, grill etc, are all in excellent condition. It runs quite"hot"for a BMR head and starts to distort at only around 4 on the volume pot. The reverb and vibrato are crazy deep and perfect for surf or psych. With the effects off, its great for blues and indie-rock jangle. The Showman cabinet contains a single 15" Jensen speaker and is dated from 1964 or 65. The cabinet has a lot of external wear and tear on the tolex and a rip in the grill but the speaker itself is in perfect condition and has a massive sound.
