The photos below show the CT-1 testing both an old/leaky 0.05uf wax capacitor. And a new 0.05uf high quality capacitor. Note the dial on the leaky 0.05uf clearly shows it is bad compared to the good 0.047uf capacitor(eye tube is max open in both cases) The working condition of the FB-4 flyback tester is unknown. EICO Model 944 Flyback Transformer and Yoke Tester with Manuals
You are bidding on an EICO model 944 flyback& yoke tester for TV and computer repair. A flyback transformer and yoke tester is a convenient tool for confirming whether a high voltage transformer or deflection yoke is good or should be rejected as bad. Flybacks and yokes are found in almost every piece of electronic equipment using a cathode ray tube(CRT) Including TV sets and many computers built before flat panel displays became common. This particular tester is an EICO 944. Serial number 14099. It comes with all the original paperwork including the construction manual and the operating manual(photo 3) This unit is in good cosmetic condition(see photos) But has a broken meter needle(photo 2) The needle doesn't reach all the way to the scale and the broken segment is loose inside the meter housing. In spite of this the tester powers ... moreup and the needle position can be adjusted using the left hand knob. I did not try this tester on flybacks or yokes, because the meter will have to be repaired or replaced before it can be put back into service and used effectively. The 944 is a handy tool. I have another one in my electronics shop and use it every time I suspect a bad flyback or yoke in a TV set or computer display. B&K Model 465 CRT Tube Tester complete with box tested good
Here is a vintage B& K CRT 465 tube tester. It is in very good condition. Works and is complete with manuals, box and interchangeable tube receivers. As you can see. The power light comes on and the needle moves. The unit was working the day I got it. Which was only a couple days before this listing. The case is in good shape with the normal wear and tear you would expect from a protective case. The manuals include 4 set up charts. 3 from 1966 and one from 1969. There is a parts list, upgrade letter from B& K and the original instruction manual. All of these are in good condition and housed under the cover of the tester.
