I attempted to test 6CB6 tube that I had by turning all the dials and switches and the tube definitely started heating up but it never displayed an actual result so I'm not sure either the tube was bad or the tester doesn't display the results correctly. GREENLEE 5774 DR701 PHASE SEQ/ MOTOR ROTATION TESTER(lost when new) We bought two of these because we thought we had lost the first unit. During my recent clean up ventures we discovered this first unit on the lower shelf of a workbench. There are a few flecks of paint on the case as you can see in my pictures. We have never used this unit but after I took these pictures I decided to try it out. I found that the battery was dead and when I removed the originally supplied 9 volt battery I damaged the battery connector as I used my pocket screwdriver to disconnect it. I plan to visit our local Radio Shack to buy a new connector to properly install in this tester. There was no damage to this unit because of the dead battery. I just broke the battery snap connector by prying in the wrong place. Everything which was in the case when I bought this ... morenew is still there. Including the plastic bag that I opened to take the tester out to try it. I am listing this as"Used" because even though it has never been used. I had managed to lose it before it was ever put in use and I will need to replace the battery snap which I have broken. This tester was made in Ireland. Thanks for looking.
