You can read the measurements for yourself. But the measurement below is 5-3/4" The height of the lid below reads 7-1/2" The case is sturdy. I cannot find or detect any breaks or cracks. It has two heavy duty plugs coming from the back of the box. I did not dare to plug it in. So it is being as is. I got this nice Weston 200 Milliamp DC Gauge with a group of vintage gauges and test instruments from the estate of a'Ham' radio guy. It is Weston Model 622. Number 10876 and the dimensions are: 8" wide X 7 1/4" high X 4" thick. The scale is milliamps with 0-200 milliamp DC capacity. The lid is on slide out hinges and easily removable. I believe this instrument dates to the 1940's, possibly older. There is a 1" scratch on the right side of the cover(see photo) There are 6 steel threaded inserts on the front of the case where a latch was removed(see photo) Overall this instrument is in good, undamaged, un-abused condition, but I am not a radio/electronics guy, so I have no way to test and verify its electronic condition, so it is being sold'as is' While handling it I noticed that the needle does move ... moresmoothly and is not seized or frozen.
