One pink toy baby carriage by Ideal. Says Made in U.S.A. on bottom. 1-1185. Inside is a vintage plastic baby doll, that I am certain did NOT come with the carriage. Can not find any markings on it. BEAUTIFUL 22" Original Betsy Wetsy Doll 1960's Ideal Toy Corp Playpal Family
This is a Betsy Wetsy Doll from the Ideal Playpal family of dolls from the 1960's. She is made of heavy vinyl with no splits. Cracks, gouges, chews or bites. She has been wiped down but, like most vintage dolls, could use a thorough cleaning. She is right at 22" tall. She is marked"IDEAL TOY CORP" The outfit she is wearing is brand new and SO PRETTY! Although it is not her original outfit. It fits her like it was absolutely made for her. She also comes with what you see pictured: new dress, new pantaloons, doll socks and 2 baby headbands. Her eyes open and close freely and are beautiful clear green with full lashes. Her face coloring is really pretty with no scuffs. Her hair doesn't appear to be missing any plugs but. As you can see in the pictures, her mommy gave her bangs a good trim. The haircut isn't horribly ... morebad so you can cover it. Her arms and legs are tight and all fingers and toes accounted for. She might have some minor scuffs or scratches on her torso but I've not noticed anything to really speak of. I CHECK MY EMAIL DAILY AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. Up for bid is a vintage 1950's Ideal Betsy Wetsy doll. She measures 11 1/2 inches. She has blueish-green sleep eyes that are sticky. She is missing some eyelashes. Her head is made of hard plastic and her body is made of vinyl. She is marked Made in USA/Pat no. 225207 on her head and Ideal doll on her back. She has molded hair with a brunette wig fashioned in braids over the top. The wig is coming loose(see photos) She is a drinks& wets doll with tear holes. She cries when you squeeze her tummy. She has some minor pitting on her calf of her left leg. It isn't very noticeable. See photo) Her little finger is missing from her left hand. It was a challenge finding out who this little girl is. IDEAL 11.5'' BRUNETTE BETSY WETSY DOLL, CLOTHES, SUITCASE & ACCESSORIES
Up for sale is a sweet Ideal 11.5' brunette Betsy Wetsy doll and accessories. This doll is the all vinyl version that was produced by Ideal between 1956 et 1957. Included in this lot is her original red suitcase. Original hang tag, glass bottle, 5 clothes pins, Ivory soap bar, small flannel blanket and tampons& a photocopy of the'instructions to my new mother' sheet. Betsy is marked Ideal Doll- VW 1 on the back of her neck. She has brown hair. No plugs missing. Her eyes are blue with no missing eyelashes; fingers and toes are intact. She is in very good condition and shows very little play wear. Betsy is wearing her original organdy yellow dress and matching bonnet and pink socks. I have added yellow ribbons to hold her socks. She is also wearing a one piece slip and a flannel diaper. There is a tiny yellow spot on the front ... moreof the slip and a few on the back. None of the clothes are tagged. Original hang tag has a crease and a yellow stain on the bottom left corner of the tag and the right corner of the back of the tag. The soap bar was taped on one side(probably to keep the corners closed) This doll has been part of my collection and I am including all of the accessories that came with the doll when I purchased her a few years ago. The red cardboard suitcase is marked Ideal- Betsy Wetsy- No 1110. The condition of the suitcase is fair(please refer to pictures) There is a tear on one side of the case. Simply stunning Ideal Crissy has had a makeover by the wonderfully talented Robyn P. This is from my private collection and was custom made. You won't find another exactly like her. Crissy's hair has been re-rooted in a chocolate colour with red-brown highlights. Her hair cascades to the floor in beautiful layered ringlets. She retains her original eyes but painted eyelashes& fresh make-up show what a beauty Crissy is. The black& red dress has a fitted bodice& has velvet loop trim on the border of the dress and on the bodice. An overcoat covers a black skirt and the sleeves a fitted down to the wrist& then flare. The hair is original but it looks as though it has had a trim on the pony. Also. The hair only extends to mid-thigh. Near Mint Ideal Look Around Velvet Doll,No Box, 2 Right T-Strap Shoes Crissy
This Look Around Velvet doll is near mint condition! Her ponytail is long and smooth! Her base hair still has cute ringlet curls on each side of her face. Velvet's dress and matching panties are mint condition! Her facial coloring looks great. Though there is a faint smudge of some sort on her left cheek, I took a picture from that angle, but I don't think it even shows in the photo, it's not a distraction at all. Velvet is wearing 2 right t-strap red shoes, but they are both in great condition. This doll turns left and right at the waist when her butterfly string is pulled. See the video. Sorry no box. Minty Unplayed With Ideal Crissy Doll in Box +Both Original Instructions &Letter
There is absolutely no question this Ideal Crissy doll has never been played with because there are no scratches whatsoever around the knob on her back or the button on her belly as proof of any play wear! Her facial coloring is still superb. No cheek rubs at all! Her base hair and ponytail are silky smooth! As with most all of my minty dolls which are no longer factory wrapped, I put a protective plastic sleeve on Crissy's ponytail and head, in order to keep her looking as perfect as the day she was bought from the store shelf! Crissy is wearing a minty original dress, original panties and original bow flat shoes marked left and right. Her box is strong and sturdy& looks incredible! She comes with her original letter to mom and original instruction sheet. And both are very nice vintage condition! This doll shows no signs of play ... morewear. I saw a few light surface scratches on one leg. Presumably from being handled or possibly while being displayed at one time, but as mentioned above, there are no fingernail scratches around the knob or belly button as any proof at all of any play wear! No odors of any kind. This doll is awesome! There's no wonder she has protective plastic around her face and hair to keep her looking so marvelous! Would make an amazing gift! Lot of 3 Ideal Grow Hair Dolls Crissy, Velvet & Cinnamon
Up for auction is a lot of 3 Ideal dolls. Chrissy was manufactured in 1969. Velvet was manufactured in 1970 and Cinnamon was manufactured in 1972. All three dolls are in good played condition. If you are familiar with the Ideal dolls you know that their hair can be made short or long. Their knobs to make their hair short work in the back of the doll and the button to make their hair grow in the belly button works as well. The dolls can be resold or used for parts. They appear to have been made for Crissy doll, but please look at the measurements to be sure they will fit your Crissy doll. I do not have a Crissy doll to try them on, but they are too big to fit Tiffany Taylor. Ideal VELVET Look Around or Movin' Groovin' Doll with ORIGINAL DRESS Works
Up for auction is an Ideal VELVET doll as found with jointed waist and butterfly shaped pull string. I am not sure which model she is as she looks around and does swivel. When you pull her string she swivels at her waist and her head turns also. She has lovely blond hair that still has some curl in the long bangs. Someone has braided her long hair into 3 braids. Her grow hair mechanism still works. Her original taffeta dress is in very nice condition and feels like it was not played with much. The dress is free from holes& stains. The matching panties still have their original elastic in good to very good shape. Her face coloring is very nice and although I have not cleaned her she seems free from dirt& stains. She appears to have all of her eyelashes but the left set needs to be combed out as they look like they have separated. There ... moreis not much color on her eyelids but I do not know if that is how she was made. Her body is free from cracks and very clean over all. She has a pink stain on her left hand(See photo) She is marked Ideal on her head and butt. 1969 on her head and 1970 on her butt. She has blue sleep eyes that work and chubby rosy cheeks. Vintage Ideal Crissy and Velvet Vinyl Dolls, Hair that Grows played w condition
Up for auction are two vintage Ideal dolls. Crissy and Velvet. They both are vinyl dolls and are in played with condition. They both have hair that grows. There is a knob on their backs that you can turn and the hair will retract. You pull it out of the top of their head to make it grow. Velvet is wearing a homemade dress. Crissy has a somewhat flattened face from being stored with another doll laying on top of her face. Her left eye doesn't open all of the way. Both eyes have a little bit of a film over them. I have tried to clean it off and it seems to rub off easily. Someone has placed small pin holes on Crissy's breasts where the nipples should be. Neither doll has any odors.
