HERE IS A QUILT. MEASURES 44-1/2" LONG. 45" WIDE. The patches are 5" x 5" This has mostly brighter colors, but a few darker ones. It is hemmed in pink yarn. The reverse is an off-white cotton material. This is obviously handmade, but I do not know the history of it. It was given to me. I am sure it is fairly old. I will be glad to combine shipping. Beautiful VTG Crissy From Ideal - Big & Heavy - Very Nice For Age
I don't know a lot about this doll. But here goes. Vintage 1972, 23" all vinyl baby named Crissy. She is heavy for a baby doll. She has dark auburn hair that was as dry as sand, so I washed and conditioned in Keratin oil and looks really good and is soft again. She had a good bath but has a few teeny, tiny black pin size marks here and there. Too small to show on camera. There is a ring in the middle of her back and I"think" that will adjust her hair but it does not work. Her hair is both long and short at the same time. One spot near bottom of neck that is thin, but rest is nice and thick. She has very fluffy eye lashes and I think these are not original. I dressed her in denim blue dress with matching pants AND shoes I bought from an ebayer. Added a red bow to her pony. All fingers and toes are good. VERY RARE SHIRLEY TEMPLE 14" as HEIDI or SALLY PIGTAILS 1930'S MARKED IDEAL
This is a Shirley Temple FACED Doll 14 inches tall and made by the Ideal Toy and Novelty Corp. in 1930's. She is a composition doll and has beautiful color with rosy cheeks. Red lips, bright smiley blue-green eyes, dimples, and mohair auburn braids with curly bangs. Her braids are tied with antique red plaid ribbon. The composition is VVG with very little crazing. There is one spot on her back right lower leg that looks like a rub, but it is not a big issue when placing a value on this doll. Some have said this doll is ideal's Shirley as Heidi, others say it is a Sally doll with Shirley's face. I don't know. I just know she is beautiful and very rare in this condition. She is wearing her original red cotton print dress with attached panty and matching head scarf. Over this she wears a very pretty white cotton organdy apron ... morewith wide eyelet ruffles on the shoulders. Her clothes are in very. Very good condition. She wears vintage cotton socks and black patent like boot shoes. Her limbs are a little loose, but she can stand and hold a pose nicely. On one foot she has a scrape with some pale red brush marks. VINTAGE BRUNETTE PATTI PLAYPAL DOLL W/ CURLY BANGS BY IDEAL CORP DARK BROWN HAIR
You are viewing a vintage(late 1950's or early 1960's) Brunette Patti Playpal doll with curly bangs and long straight hair. She is a nice clean doll with only a few minor problems. Patti is 35 inches tall and has nice facial coloring with a small light spot on one cheek(see 3rd picture) She has pretty bright green sleep eyes(there is a light scratch on her left eye(see 3rd picture) She has full lashes and they are all present. Her hair is in good shape and is not missing any hair plugs. She has flange legs and strung arms-means( does not walk) these are easier to dress. Patti has nice facial coloring with a small light spot on one cheek(see 3rd picture) She has pretty bright green sleep eyes(there is a light scratch on her left eye(see 3rd picture) She has full lashes and they are all present. Her hair is in good shape and is not ... moremissing any hair plugs. There are no chew marks and all of her fingers and toes look great. There is a tiny mark on her upper right arm and a couple of marks at the bottom of her right foot(see photos) Overall her skin is in great shape with a few minor scuffs. She has her original shoes(one of the straps is torn a little at one of the holes that you buckle-it is not even noticeable when they are on her feet-I am not sure if her socks are original or not. She wears a reddish maroon real velvet dress(it has some minor marks, they are not noticeable-not sure how to clean velvet-so I didn't mess with it) Patti has one tiny crack on the back of her neck-it does not interfere with her head moving in any direction. Near Mint Vintage Ideal Hair To Floor Crissy doll, box, papers, booklet & NOTE!
This is a spectactular Hair To Floor Crissy doll! I would call her minty/to perhaps near mint condition! Her facial coloring is absolutely perfect. No cheek rubs at all! No odors. Her base hair is the common 1960's bob. Her ponytail is smooth and tangle free, which is quite an accomplishment for these hair to floor dolls after 40+ years. Plus the ponytail goes well beyond the toes with cute curls on the bottom! The mechanism works great, and I've added pictures to show the longest and shortest length of the tail. Crissy is wearing her original party dress, with matching panties,both are in fabulous condition! She is also wearing her original bow flat shoes marked left and right. She comes in her original box. And photo copies of the original papers which include a letter to mother, and an extremely rare 2L-0026 Hair To Floor instruction ... moresheet which is different than the much more commonly found 2L-0029 instruction sheet that was made for 2nd edition shorter hair Crissy's. Both sheets do basically give the same hair care directions for both editions. However, the wording on a 1st editions sheet, says; at it shortest length. Crissy's ponytail only goes to her waist" please notice the difference, this is clearly referring to 1st editions, because we all know waist length hair for a 2nd edition Crissy would be at it's longest length. Not at it's shortest, because 2nd edition ponytails lift all the way to the doll's shoulder area. I've added a photo of the two sheets side by side. For comparison purposes. Although the doll will come with the instruction sheet pictured on the right only, as it is the correct instruction sheet for 1st edition Crissy dolls. There is also a very rare photo copy of a spell correction note that came inside some of these styling pamphlets. For the purpose of correcting a word that had been misprinted. Vintage 1960s Ideal 36" Patti Playpal Doll with Exc Original Inaugural Outfit
Hi. Thank you for viewing my auction for this vintage late 50s early 60s Patti Playpal doll who is approx. 36 inches tall and is marked on the back of her neck Ideal Doll G-35 and on her back Ideal in a circle with 35 below it. Her face makeup is great with pretty blushed cheeks, full lipstick and full eyebrows. Her eyes are beautifully clear with full eyelashes and they open and close easily as they should. Her hair is soft and easy to brush, I noted a couple of missing plugs but not on the perimeter of her face or back lower hairline. She is not a walker. Both legs have a small dent in one spot where they connect to her body with a small crack in one at the dent. Under her arms have pink stains probably from wearing her original red checkered dress for so long. One arm also has a small area of light orange discoloration. Her arms could ... moreuse tightened stringing. Sometimes they hold upward and outward positions, other times not. She has her original red and white checkered inaugural dress with attached half-slip and original 4 button pinwheel buttons. Some areas of lightening and on the sleeves very small areas of lace needing repair. Apron is great with both original apples on pockets. There is a small what appears to be pen mark on the back of the apron. I did not wash her clothes but I think this should be easy to remove. Dress and apron are great with no tears I have noted. She has her original panties though the elastic is stretched and near the top there is an area of what looks like old hot iron damage. I think her socks are original. One has some tears but still displays nicely. They have some age yellowing. Her shoes are original, the Japan style with blue lining and Japan marked on each shoe. Interior of shoes have some staining and their straps need repair, one is completely unattached. Please email with questions, concerns or comments. RARE Ideal Brazil Estrela Division Patti Playpal Amiguinha Original Dress
Rare Vintage Amiguinha Patti Playpal by Ideal's Estrela Doll Division These dolls were made from the same molds as Patti Play Pal. This is a hard to find vintage version of the Amiguinha doll from the late 50s or early 60s. I purchased her from Brazil and was told the dress is original. I have seen a catalog picture with this dress but I can't provide proof. So please do not ask. Estrella did not tag their clothing like Ideal. Unlike the Play Pal family, Amiguinha had a large range of original outfits and was manufactured through the 80s. Face is faded as is evidenced in the photos. I love these dolls because they are made by a division of Ideal and not something easily found in the US. Estrella made several of the old Ideal dolls and it is fun to see their take on these dolls.
