Vintage Ideal Petite Patty Patti Playpal Doll G18
Up for auction is a vintage Ideal doll G18 or Petite Patty Patti Playpal doll. She measures 19" tall. She has thick dark brown hair and blue eyes which open and close easily. She is wearing a nightgown and panties. I am sure the nightgown is not original but not sure about the panties. Her head is on a ball joint and moves easily up and down and side to side. Her legs seem to be on some type of racheting system but I am not sure how it works or if it is working. If you move one leg the other leg moves in the opposite direction most of the time. Her body needs a good cleaning. I washed her legs with a mild soap and a lot of dirt came off but I did not clean her whole body for fear of damaging her. Here is a 1934-1936 Reliable Shirley Temple doll. 18" tall, with all composition body, jointed hips, shoulders, neck, and composition head with dimples. She also has(faded) green sleep eyes. Lashes, painted lower lashes; blond mohair wig; and an open mouth showing teeth. Except for the eyes(and hairdo) this doll is in excellent condition especially for being about 80 years old! No chips. I am marked Ideal Toy Corp. OTT-19 on the back of my neck. I am in good condition and am wearing my original Thumbelina bead bracelet. My stuffing had compacted and shifted up and down so I was really. Really floppy. My foster mom has added more stuffing and now I'm nice and soft but still a little floppy. Just like a real baby. When my foster mom opened me up she found that my head was stuffed with shredded foam that had shifted up. This foam was preventing my crier from being heard and my ... morehead from turning when my knob was wound. I am now in perfect. Good working condition. My head moves ever so gently once the knob is wound. My hair is a bit brittle but there are few missing plugs. My foster mom has dressed me in an older baby dress and booties and made me a new pair of bloomers. I come with a vintage Evenflo plastic baby bottle. VINTAGE IDEAL SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL ST-17-1 W/DRESS 17 INCHES 1950's This vintage Shirley Temple Doll is marked on the back of her neck Ideal Doll ST-17-1 and her back is marked Ideal Doll ST-17. She is made of vinyl. All her fingers and toes are intact and in excellent condition. Her limbs and neck are all tight. There is on tiny little ink DOT on her RIGHT arm in between the wrist and elbow and her blush on the left cheek is slightly rubbed off. Her hair plugs seem to be in tact and most of the original bobby pins are in as well as the original setting of the wig. I believe her clothes are original but I am not an expert by any means so please make sure that you view all photos to ensure accuracy of the items you see. She comes complete with the undergarment, dress, socks and shoes as well as the stand. She has a shock of Auburn hair, that needs some attention, and she needs to be restrung. She has on thigh high stockings, red underpants, and a beautiful dress of pink tulle, that shows a little wear, torn a tad in the back. What I have read about eye mechanisms is. The head would have to be removed and the eyes adjusted. I think there is a bracket that you crimp. There is information on the web about how to do this. I will leave this is up to the new owner.I am selling this pretty doll as is. I just wanted to be very up-front about what I see. I don't know much about the Saucy Walker doll other than I carry vintage patterns for them and that Saucy is very cute.so I don't know if this is an original dress for Saucy Walker or not.
