This wonderful Pinocchio jointed Toy Doll measures approx. 8" tall and features a composition head atop a jointed and painted wooden body and limps. This is an outstanding representation of the Icon Disney/ Fairy Tale Character showing Pinocchio as an almost combination wooden puppet and real boy. She did have an issue with her hair being krimped. I applied an excellent deep conditioner to her hair. Some of the krimping is still visible. The upper portion of her hair too was what looked to me like the manufacturer machine or rooter? pulled more hairs through than it should have. I layered her hair and she looks great now. But her hair did have a few issues. Her facial color is excellent, her sleep eyes work well and she has outstanding colored eyes. They are a dark brown. There are no bites, discoloration or anything that I can see that isn't perfect. She is wearing a gorgeous mod outfit by Wild Orchid Studios. The outfit is just one of many in which this seller creates. She also ... morehas a complimentary matching headband. They are always really cute outfits, just like I remembered when playing with the dolls in my childhood. The Mary Jane shoes were purchased separately and there is slight mismatch of color and a mouse decided she likes the color pink so she started to chew one of the shoes. so I have reduced this doll even further in price. I could of just sold her without shoes, but it is a pair of shoes for the time being. With the pants on you likely wouldn't notice. She comes with a used bathing suit, no used gray shoes in photo, someone else needed a pair of shoes. I live in the country and it is mighty cold here in Maine, so critters like a nice cozy warm place during winter; Overall, I think this doll would rate a 9, and only because of the krimping, but then who would have known the doll would become someone elses and you need to forgive the mouse that also liked the color pink; I think you will be well pleased with this doll. This is a vintage 1950's Ideal Toni Walker. 16" and in wonderful condition except for her head being detached. Her face is beautifully hand painted and very high color, her eyes are bright blue and all her lashes are there. Her blond hair is all there and in great condition. All her joints work except her head. NO stains, tears, or odors. Under her beautiful gown, she is wearing a bra and panties. Marked Ideal Doll, Made in U.S.A. on the back of her head and 16 on her back. There is no P-91 mark, which is very unusual, unless this is a very early doll. When her head is reattached, she will be gorgeous! Her shoes are a replacement, but her socks are original. I am selling this wonderful doll here with NO RESERVE!

Here is a beautiful 21" Harriet Hubbard Ayer doll by Ideal from the 1950's. She is dressed in her original outfit(has some age stains) Shoes and socks. Comes with her wicker basket of cosmetics(lipstick, eyebrow pencil, perfume stick, blue eye shadow, face powder, rouge- all unused! She is hard plastic and vinyl- long tapered fingers are painted red. No cracks or splits. She is pretty clean- body needs a little cleaning from age/storage. Moving to Arizona and forced to sell part of my doll collection. I am listing a beautiful original Ideal Deanna Durbin doll that dates from approximately 1938. She is in beautiful condition for her age with minimum crazing in her composition. She has her original eye lashes but her eyes are not clear. Original wig but I am not sure about the clothing. It appears to be age appropriate and the shoes also. She stands 18" tall and is marked"Deanna Durbin Ideal Doll" on her back. She is one of my favorites and has a beautiful face with open mouth. She has been in a case since I purchased her about 10 years ago.

This Doll was made in 1940 by"Ideal" and is called the"Magic Skin Doll" The Magic Skin Doll was made of all latex magic skin. And had a stuffed body, sleep eyes, and is jointed at the neck and shoulders only. The back of the head is usually marked"Ideal" However this one isn't. The top neck area is marked"Made In USA Patent No. 2252077" If you look up the patent number it will give you the patent info on the Magic Skin Doll and take you to the Ideal Doll sites. The facial features could use good cleaning. And a small bit of color is rubbed color off of the molded hair. One fact that can be read on a couple of sites was the Magic Skin becomes discolored over age. And this dolls magic skin has really darkened over the last 70+ years. As you can see the body. Ideal Posie doll and Saucy Walker type doll
Two adorable vintage dolls. One is made by Ideal. The smaller version of the Posie doll, about 17" tall. She is wearing her original dress, underwear, shoes, and is even wearing a tiny watch! She has a pretty face, blue sleep eyes and her legs bend ok but she doesn't walk. Her cryer works. Her hair is in good condition and her outfit is clean and in excellent condition. The other taller doll is a copy of Saucy Walker and has no markings. She can walk and turn her head and is in excellent condition for her age. She doesn't cry. Her outfit is a replacement but her shoes and socks are original I think. She has pretty flirty eyes, nice face coloring, and pig tails in her hair. She is so cute and very charming.
