Welcome you are bidding on a 1 1/2 month old HIS AMD Radeon HD 7970. This is a cherry 7970 card. Its default voltage is 1.175v and it does up to 1170mhz on the core at default voltage. With a small increase to about 1.20v it will do up to 1200mhz core. Memory will do up to 1700- 1725mhz. This is obviously one of the high binned cores that everyone is always looking for that does high clock on low voltage. These are the highest sought after cards because it is a reference design. So watercoolers should be salivating at this. Because it will obviously do 1300mhz or more under water if it can do 1210mhz on air. Don't go for the newer custom 7970's if you want customization. Most newer 7970 don't allow voltage changing anymore and this is why the reference are important. Testing high voltage circuits for leakage is too often a"hit or miss" operation unless you have a genuine load and feedback test metered device. Watching for pale blue sparks in a darkened environment is a time-tested method. Probing about with a grounded ice pick sort of tool is another. I've even known some fellows who don't seem bothered much by getting zapped with low amperage high voltage run their hand over secondary ignition leads to see if they have any leaks. But for factory authorized small engine shops. A genuine"Hi-Po" or High Potential electrical loading and testing device is considered more professional. Even though it may be less exciting. This can work on any brand of equipment. But it was sold through Toro's dealer equipment supply channel. Very nice piece to own and will retain its value for ... moremany years unless someone who should not be allowed in your shop gets hold of it.
