The"Strike up the Band" speaker has always been one of the most desirable of the vintage Wurlitzer speakers. This very hard to find faithful reproduction of the original 1946 wall mounted speaker with its formed curves and rounded corners testifies to the loving craftsmanship that went into the design of this classic. It has lighting in the front and sides plus internally illuminated plastic panels boasting:Strike Up The Band" and"Wurlitzer” The actual 12 inch loudspeaker itself was removed because its cone support foam was deteriorating and needed replacing anyhow. Therefore saving on shipping weight as well… Ifyou like I can include said loudspeaker for free but it will add nearly 6 lbs of weight to package so your shipping cost will be higher and you will have to have it repaired.
