The TYCO IS THE VS-3 230971-5 crimper. Movable die(anvil) and two fixed dies(crimpers) crimp the connectors. Two wire supports- position and hold the wires in the crimpers. Wire cutter- performs two functions. First. It locates the connector on the anvil, and second, it cuts excess wire during the crimp cycle. Here is a used Tyco 169481-2 Crimp Tool. I am not too sure of its condition. But it crimps and the handles return fine. The ratchet mechanism has no problems. I'm selling"as is" because I can't really test it to see how well it crimps a lug to a wire. This crimper might work just fine!
