Antique Industrial General Electric GE Volt Meter Gauge Instrument Panel Mounted

Example: if postage is $12 your shipping cost is $13.80 Thank you. This is an original old antique General Electric Volt Meter. Size is 4 3/4" wide x 4 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" deep. Weight is approx. 2 lb. The case is die cast aluminum. Looks like it was a gauge or meter mounted onto an instrument or control panel. Dial face reads"General Electric Co. Patent date on dial is June 13. 1911. The case attaches with 4 small screws. So I was able to remove it and show you the mechanism. The indicator needle and armature are free and move easily; but a 9 volt battery placed across the leads read nothing. The glass lens is good. No chips, no ... morecracks, but there are 3 or 4 tiny pinpoints of what looks like weld splatter. My guess is it wasn't covered when someone welded too close to it. The dial face shows a bit of foxing at 15 volts. A great old retro industrial look for your shop. Man cave, or Frankenstein Laboratory. Very cool. Here we have 1 meter of 11 core electric wheelchair cable. This cable is rare to get hold of and very expensive to replace. This has the 5 control cables and the six power cables with a noise suppression ferrite. All items are salvaged from working equipment. I tear down hi end test and medical equipment. Definition as tested in my listings: Individual components are pulled from working equipment and are tested. Boards, displays and IC's are fully working before removal. Static sensitive devices are pulled using the correct equipment and stored correctly. Arduino and Pi items do not come with data sheets although I will try list most component ID's. Meter measures appox. 8"x5.5"x5" Two wingnuts on the front to disconnect glass are intact and glass is in very good original condtion. I will ship in the USA; I accept paypal. Western Electric Test Equipment Optical Meter Calibration System ONLY
Western Electric optical projection meter that uses a flashlight bulb(and a spare GE 222X also) to reflect light off a mirror inside the potentiometer( rotary control module. And project it on the translucent, graduated screen on the front panel. Pushbutton switch at the bottom would be for taking readings and battery condition. It has an analog meter, above the rotary control with a center zero marking and a"BAT. area to the right on the face. Has a foot long coiled cord with a three pin plug that is marked"EBY 16160" I would imagine that would connect into a dry cell battery. The cord has a tag with"H328-705 L5" I am not sure of it's functioning. But it is a marvel of American engineering. The rotary control and mirror assembly has a marking of 726667-2(g or 8 or s) and the date April 20, 1981. The entire assembly ... moreis stamped with KS-168411.1 I did power up the light and it does work. Entire unit measures about 6 1/2" long by 7" high. It was part of a bigger instrument, as it has four(4) screws on it's thick Bakelite front panel to hold it in. The 6 position terminal strip on the back still has the nubbins of the fabric wires where they were cut off. Any questions. Please feel free to ask. I bought this just as it is, no history.
