Vintage Industrial Crouse-Hinds Electrical Junction Socket w/ Conduit & Light
I did some digging in the garage of a recent estate sale and was pretty happy to find this unique piece. It is a vintage Crouse-Hinds electrical box/socket with a flexible conduit attached on one end and an old light socket on the end of that. I don't know if the whole thing is original or if someone put the conduit and light in afterwards. The entire thing. When extended, measures about 26 inches long. I think it'll be easiest to describe it piece by piece. 1. Crouse-Hinds Socket: it measures 4.5 inches tall by 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The attachments on top and bottom are 1/2 inch in diameter. There is a great old orange color that remains although some has chipped off. The metal is stamped on the back. Crouse-Hinds Co.
