The item being offered here is a vintage Singer sewing machine motor. Cat. No. BZ 9-8, S. S. AU52-16-1, 110-120 Volts, 0.53 Amps, 25-75 cycles A.C. D.C. and knee lever control box that was removed from an old Singer machine cabinet awhile back(old black machine, maybe a#66-16 or#99 or other one, just don't recall) We purchased the machine at a local estate sale and stripped it of the parts. This motor has the pulley wheel attached, and the original cord, which is soft and pliable, without damage or repairs. The control box has a small, push rod thing on the side that the knee lever would normally press to make the machine work. The mounting bracket is still attached, which could be easily removed if you don't want to use it. It is marked on the label: Simanco, Elizabethport, N.J. U.S.A. Up for sale is a Philco Mystery Control unit used from 1939 til 1942 on their high end radios such as model 39-116. I took out the 30 tube and tested it on my Hickok 533A tester. It tested very good. More than halfway into the green on the English setting. There is an excellent article about this unit that shows how it worked, schematics and models used with. Google Philco mystery control, it should be the first listing. Everything appears to be there. The dial is nice, complete and not warped and turns easily. I have not tested this unit. This auction is for ONE(1) Allen Bradley DC drive/control panel. These panels were recently in use controlling large commercial Goss Headliner Offset printing presses. Most components are Allen Bradley and the panels were assembled by Allen Bradley for Goss. The printer recently replaced ALL the controls in the entire printing operation including these and other panels. The one pictured above has a programming pad also by Allen Bradley. When the printing company was sold off all controls and panels were carefully disconnected and removed. We have several of these and other controls but WILL NOT separate the components at this time. Since the panel iteself was purchased new, there is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST! The control panel surround is in reasonably good condition. There are no cracks or major chips. It was re-spray painted by its previous owner, and they did a pretty poor job. It is recommended you sand and re-paint the surround before using.
