This is a 1978 Fender Telecaster Thinline. Serial number S803122, in exceptionally fine, fully original condition. This guitar even still has its original‘ashtray’ bridge cover! This model features the original Seth Lover twin humbucking pickups, and fully original wiring harness and pots. The original Tele blond finish shows very little playing wear, with the ash grain wood showing through the translucent finish. The guitar weighs a light 6 pounds, 7.9 ounces, and with the chambered thin-line body with that open F-hole, it is very resonant. This Tele is fully original, including tuning keys, black 3-ply beveled pickguard, and top hat switch tip, right down to the original strap buttons. The original frets show only light fret wear, and the neck finish also shows only very minimal wear. The neck depth is 7/8-inch at the first fret, and the ... moremedium‘D’ shaped neck contour is very comfortable-feeling. The neck is straight, the string action is low, and the guitar plays like butter, with very little fret buzz. There is one nick in the finish on the edge near the top, as seen in the close-up, that shows a small area of bare wood and a small redish stained area under the lower horn that is hardly noticeable. Overall, this guitar should easily one of the cleaner 35 year old guitars you will see. There are only some minor pick scuff marks on the treble side of the neck pickup and on the pickguard, and that one nick in the finish, mentioned above. Simpson Vacuum Tube A.C. Millivolt/dB meter. Model 717-I. Serial No. 50507 This is a good quality meter with the mirrored scale to minimise parallax error. It has a great range from 1mV RMS. Full scale, up to 300V. As a dB meter. Measuring from-60dB to +50dB, it is great for audio measurements, particularly of valve electronics. The meter is in great condition with the exception of some scuffing of the case. I have refurbished this unit and been using it myself. All components have been checked. The resistors are excellent for their age. Most electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with the exception of the two main supply caps in the can- these measured fine and. As it is impossible to get a direct replacement, I decided to leave them. I fitted a standard IEC mains socket and replaced the broken fuseholder to modern standards. The unit ... moreis set for 240V mains and the internal transformer tap should be changed to suit your mains. The transformer has tappings for 220V. 230V, 240V, 250V and 260V. see photo) I also include some notes about this and other issues. I traced the circuit and a copy is included. As is a disc with the CAD file of the drawing which also has a fair bit of the layout drawn. There are 5 EL95(6AK5) valves plus one 0A2 regulator valve used. The meter works and the readings are accurate. I have calibrated the voltage readings to my digital multimeter(which I have checked) and the relative ranges and scaleing is good(within the width of the needle) The frequency response is flat down to about 6Hz with a fast rolloff below that. And extends up to about-1dB at 250kHz and a slow rolloff to-3dB at 1MHz, with more information in the notes included. The input impedance is greater than 10M ohm. This item was purchased from Measurement Devices Ltd as an MDL-150-D. However the company was since taken over by Reinshaw and its now called a ILM-R-150. The only difference between the specs on the website and this system is that the cable has been shortened to about 600mm. Also a big difference is that this unit outputs up to 20Hz where as the specs on the datasheet say 9Hz. You can download software to change the output rate. We were using it on a UAV with an output rate of 10Hz. The item was purchased new for $3000AUD.

CD V-742 Dosimeter Pen- Reads Gamma Radiation- Range 0-200 Roentgens Radiological dosimeters are electrostatic devices used for measuring an accumulated dose of radiation. The civil defence dosimeters are a standard dosimeter design. This same type of dosimeter would be used anywhere people would have to measure their accumulated radiation dose. The electrostatic dosimeter is a pen-size scientific instrument with an eyepiece you look into at the top of dosimeter and a charging contact at the bottom. Inside the device is a microscopic scale with a hairline indicator. This shows the amount of radiation absorbed by the device since the last time it was reset to zero. The dosimeter is reset by charging it with electricity using with a dosimeter charger. This device fills the inner chamber of the dosimeter tube with a high voltage charge. By looking ... morethrough the eyepiece while this is being done. The user can manipulate the charger knob to reset the hairline indicator on the radiation scale inside the dosimeter to the"0" point. This sets the dosimeter to zero and readies it for use. The user then carries the dosimeter on their person(hence the clip on each dosimeter. To hold it in a pocket or on clothing) and carries it around while he works near radiation. As radiation passes through the dosimeter(and the wearer! it discharges the dosimeter and the hairline indicator on the scale will move up from 0, which thus records the total dose of radiation that passed through the dosimeter(and again, through the wearer! since it was reset.
