I have 2ea Cat exciter regulators P/N 3N4789 along with droop current transformers. Both are in working order. Other then one, every once in a while, doesn't build voltage right away. It may take up to 10 seconds to build voltage. Because the generator are in a health care facility, it had to be changed to make the 10 second rule. This was taken from a huge rackmount HP power supply. I regret disassembling it now. But I was moving and I didn't wanna lug it around. This board is pretty sweet though. It has spade connectors for unregulated voltage in, and spade connectors for regulated voltage out. And boy does this thing regulate. 12.000 volts out according to my fluke 87v with 20v on the input. That's down to the thousanths place people! I don't know what the output current capacity is, but the original unit was about 80lbs, so it's probably pretty good. I found a few places online that sold this part, and they wanted thousands of dollars for it. I'm not saying it's worth that, but if you wanna regulate some voltage with a nice clean USA piece of kit, throw a bid on there.
